What is the Name?
As a newly minted Karaite Jew I have had to come to the decision as to whether I would continue to use the terms "Adonai" or "HaShem" instead of the Creator's Name (YHVH/YHWH). I have come to the conclusion that I will use the Creator's actual Name.

The proper Name of God as given in the Tanakh is יהוה.
There have been various attempts in recent years to begin pronouncing this Name. Many people use the term “Yahweh” which is a misunderstanding of the Hebrew text.…
