Event Description

Join the congregation of Roots of Faith as Ross teaches on Torah Reading Tetzaveh (Exodus 27:20-30:10). The title of this week's class is "Making Messiahs". Perhaps no other topic in Biblical studies has created so much controversy and confusion. What does it mean to be a messiah? What can we learn of this subject from this week's parsha. The people of Israel began making messiahs in the time of Moses, and the Hebrew Bible shows what it involves. Ross will explore the meaning of the term and clarify the Biblical concept of the Messiah.
