Quote: "please don't try to put one past me by saying that erecting the tabernacle is "work", but the offerings the priests do every sabbath is NOT work. Ok? :-)"
When we bring correction we should bring it with a humble spirit and not one of haughtiness. You have been chastised for this on more than one occasion. When you continue to abuse people with your words (whether intentional or not) your words become empty to many readers.
Do us and yourself a favor and review your posts for such nonsense before putting them out for public display.

Actually, there are New Moons that are recorded as standard "work days":
Genesis 1:3-5 3 Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. 4 And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night.God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night.
So the evening and the morning were the first day.
Recorded here is the first day of the week, month, year and creation -
and YEHOVAH is busy at work preparing the Earth for mankind.
Genesis 8:13 And it came to pass in the six hundred and first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, that the waters were dried up from the earth; and Noah removed the covering of the ark and looked, and indeed the surface of the ground was dry.
Here is example of Noah involved in woodwork. Noah removed a large, heavy, fixed part of the wooden ship he built - on the first day of the month (New moon).
If these verses have already been posted - please forgive me. I'm new to this discussion & forum.
