Is the man, Jesus of Nazareth, destined to rule during the 1000 year period when The Almighty will set up His Anointed to accomplished many great things in what is called, The Age of Redemption, The World to Come or The World Tomorrow. Note: Since I've read no doctrinal statements regarding The Synagogue Without Walls, I'm willing to approach all issues that come up regarding Jesus of Nazareth and the Following Him ......Out of Christianity. I do not believe The Hebrew Bible identifies The Nazarene as the future disseminator of G-d's Word from Jerusalem during The Age of Redemption. Often I have been in discussion with folks from both sides of the coin with some very aggressively proclaiming the YEA while the same number of folks proclaim the NEA. Now, another question, is the question I brought up even of interest to my brothers and sisters within the Synagogue Without Walls? Well, let's face it, it should present a pretty powerful forum for a most rewarding dialogue. I'm new to SWW and want to learn and help others do the same. My intention is not to upset or turn off anyone. Our mission to DRESS IT and TO KEEP IT is always before my eyes and I believe knowledge is very important in aiding us in getting the job done. I believe we must also be a light to this dark world which I believe is still in the dark ages. The teachings of Jesus of Nazareth are WONDERFUL and they direct us back to Torah and to Our Loving Creator. I believe His Teachings are doing much to lead folks out of modern Christianity which has drifted far from the first century community and its teachings from The Nazarene. I'm of the belief that we are to work in concert with the Jews and make this world a much better place in which to live. My dear SSW family, thank you for taking the time to read my words. I learn all I can and you can help with my education as I will attempt to share what I've learned with you. The job ahead appears to be a grand one and one worth putting all we have into. Glad to be in touch with those who love our Creator, Others and themselves. Be well, blessed and at peace. Your brother in life. Steven

I don't think Yeshua will be the leader. I am not sure, he existed. This is just my opinion, but I don't think YHWH would chose a leader who could offer so much confusion. As humans, I think it would be too much to understand how to have a powerful leader and not worship him, certainly if we have already used him as a figure of deity in the past. I find that when YHWH speaks of his later days, HE wants to be our one and only god. He wants to be looked upon as one and be worshipped and loved and adored. He wants to be seen as our redeemer and our only source of help. I think Yeshua would add too much confusion to the equation. In Jeremiah, it spoke of other gods-ones who did not create heaven and earth -shall perish. Jeremiah 10:11. I think I have read how YHWH will destroy all other gods- no gods. (Can't find that scripture). This doesn't look really good for Yeshua to be our leader.

No, I do not believe Yeshua will reign, it will be YHVH Himself.
Behold, a day is coming for YHVH when the spoil taken from you will be divided among you. For I will gather all the nations against Jerusalem to battle, and the city will be captured, the houses plundered, the women ravished, and half of the city exiled, but the rest of the people will not be cut off from the city. Then YHVH will go forth and fight against those nations, as when He fights on a day of battle. And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which is in front of Jerusalem on the east; and the Mount of Olives will be split in its middle from east to west by a very large valley, so that half of the mountain will move toward the north and the other half toward the south. And you will flee by the valley of My mountains, for the valley of the mountains will reach to Azel; yes, you will flee just as you fled before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then YHVH my God, will come, and all the holy ones with Him! And it will come about in that day that there will be no light; the luminaries will dwindle. For it will be a unique day which is known to YHVH, neither day nor night, but it will come about that at evening time there will be light. And it will come about in that day that living waters will flow out of Jerusalem, half of them toward the eastern sea and the other half toward the western sea; it will be in summer as well as in winter. And YHVH will be King over all the earth; in that day YHVH will be the only One, and His name the only One. Then it will come about that any who are left of all the nations that went against Jerusalem will go up from year to year to worship the King, YHVH of hosts, and to celebrate the Feast of Booths. And it will be that whichever of the families of the earth does not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, YHVH of hosts, there will be no rain on them.
(Zechariah 14:1-17).
Thus says YHVH, the King of Israel And his Redeemer, YHVH of hosts: I am the first and I am the last, and there is no God besides Me
(Isaiah 44:6).
(this says forever, not 1000 yrs)
And I will make a covenant of peace with them; it will be an everlasting covenant with them. And I will place them and multiply them, and will set My sanctuary in their midst forever. My dwelling place also will be with them; and I will be their God, and they will be My people. And the nations will know that I am YHVH who sanctifies Israel, when My sanctuary is in their midst forever
(Ezekiel 37:26-28).
Dear Steve, I have learned so much here that words can't describe. Here you will find tolerance and fellowship. But most importantly LOVE. I think G-d's main goal is for us to all live up to our potential, to make a difference in other's lifes, to always seek him, to always seek the truth. There is more to gain by seeking TOGETHER!! There are so many dear friends I have here, who have been so very patient and kind and took their time with me, for that I will be forever grateful. I do not think that I could have survived the tragedy in my life with out this site. I know that I feel convicted if I were to eat pork and many other truths have come to light. I do not deny Yeshua as the Son. But the power of the Torah cannot be denied. Welcome and peace forever. G-d's path is a journey. Yeshua was when the word became flesh. And anyone with spriritual eyes can see what is happening in this world. I worship One God.

Tamla, Hello and thank you for sharing with me. Your initial question regarding a reference to the 1000 year reign is found in The Greek Scriptures at Revelation Chapter 20 and verse 6. Atleast that's the reference provided to me when I inquired about the same. In regards to the existence or non-existence of Jesus of Nazareth there are many who feel exactly the same as you and yet others contend that the Jesus portrayed throughout the Greek Scriptures is actually a combination of three separate individuals who existed in that era. I personally don't know so can only strive to obey The Almighty and do my part to make this world a little better place in which to live. The single one Creator G-d is also my personal focus while I'm willing to share with a fellow human being their particular reference point and motivation. Thank you again for extending your hand of friendship via sharing on this topic. After all didn't the Nazarene direct us to Our Creator and to one another as we grow personally in our life? Be well and you are appreciated. Trusting others will be willing to share with you.

Wonderfully quoted and expressed. Thank you for responding to my initial input for discussion. It is one subject that truly creates a ton of emotions within our communities and one that will go on til The Almighty has His say. Your name Bat Melech, is translated Daughter of Melech, am I correct? May I address you as Bat Melech or is there another correct address for you. You quoted from some of the greatest portions of Prophecy and ones filled with hope FOR OUR WORLD. Til they are fulfilled I believe we have a wonderful commission to Be A Blessing and to fulfill the very purpose for which we were born. May we truly continue in the light of the hope we have and pass that torch onto others who love The Almighty and want to make a difference. Be well and blessed

Leo, Thank you for responding to my initial input to this forum. The qualities you mentioned are so very much desired i.e. tolerance, fellowship etc. May The Almighty bless the efforts of you all and those who saw the open door for such a wonderful exchange of hope and growth. We grow where we've been planted and you must do the same. Oh yes, I do realize that sometimes we have to be transplanted into better soil so we can grow but til then we must grow where we find ourselves. You hit the nail on the head with your mention of LOVE. Who could possible not go along with such a great quest: Love of G-d, Love of Fellowman and yes even Love of ourselves. I believe all rest on these three beautiful parts of LOVE. You faith is powerful and I could feel it through the energy of your words. No one can ever take that from you. Continue being a light to this dark world which I believe is still in the dark ages and grow where The Almighty as placed you. You become the hope of many when you let the power of our Loving Creator reach into your being. Our local fellowship is always stressing the 3-prong attack for growth in life, the points mentioned earlier. Your life has purpose and you were brought to SWW for a purpose since The Almighty doesn't do things for naught. So glad you're using this opportunity to share with others. Looking forward to much more meaningful sharing as G-d permits. Be well my friend and blessed, we have a great commission to accomplish. L'shalom

Yeshua does exist, I dont call Him Jesus Christ. He is the Son of YHWH. now i have heard recently the ppl say that He had no son, becasue He is echad (one). But I believe that He is coming back again, and that He will reign for 1000 years on the new heavens/new earth as scripture states. But are they the same,YHWH and Yeshua as One? that is the question.

My brother in life, Brett. Thank you for taking the time to respond to my initial entry for this forum via SWW. The various schools of thought suggested at this forum demonstrates the wonderful opportunity for us all to grow and to continue growing. One of the foundational documents, Restoration of The Abrahamic Faith, for SWW allows all of us to sort out all the numerous experiences and to separate the wheat from the chaff. Some of the CHAFF, which we have held dear for so many years, may be shown to be just that - Chaff - so we painfully remove it from our focus and embrace wonderful truth. The experiences we've had have led to THIS point in our lives and THIS experience is a turning point for many. When modern Christians look into the roots of their faith and are willing to read and respond to the words of The Nazarene - which directs all to The Almighty - the seeds planted will shed so much more light on Spiritual Reality and G-dly Existence. I want to fulfill the purpose for which I was born. We can come together, reason from the Beautiful Torah and redirect our lives toward a very meaningful existence. May The Almighty continue to direct our Elder Brother Ross and others who are putting so much into this effort to provide truly an eternal education for all who reach out for truth. Be well and blessed, Steven

-----------the 'short' answer that I have to offer is no, he will not reign during this time of redemption. Personally, Steven, I feel that the children of YH caught up in Christianity and some, some strains of Messianic Judaism will come to lose their idolatry of Yeshua as the time comes closer to redemption. There are some baggages that his people will have until he brings us back to the land and removes them from our hearts.
One reading from the prophets, it seems that YHWH alone will be ruler in the spiritual realm while David will reign physically. The image Yeshua of Nazareth reigning as shown in Revelations and other material doesn't reflect in harmony with what the prophets called for many years ago..
My understanding is that Reb Yeshua taught to keep every Tittle of the Jewish Mitzvot & Himself prayed to G-d the Father. If He was saying that He was G-d-then why was he praying to G-d the Father- it does NOT make any sense.I believe that many Scriptures-either deliberately or in Naivete-was Mistranslated & Distorted-we have many examples of that.Which leads to the Very uncomfortable Discernment of whether or not the NT is Reliable & Inerrant- as is the OT!
What I understood is that Yeshua said My Father & I are Echad- which is VERY different-it means that Yeshua & His G-d-the Father of Israel were ONE in Mind,Heart & Purpose.Yeshua claimed that He always saw HaShem before Him & imitated what the Father did & was Obedient as a SON!
!
Many were called Sons of G-d.We also are supposed to be sons & daughters of G-d! & imitate HIm!
There are also many- including non Jewish Kings that were referred to as Moshiach-"Anointed"
Whether or not Yeshua will be the ONE to appear in the Clouds is what is debated (Bk of Daniel Prophecy)
While I have NOT memorized ALL the Prophecies about the Moshiach (it's Impossible)- I don't know anyone else that fulfilled so many Prophecies????? Sneerson-while being a Wonderful Rabbi did NOT fulfill many of the Prophecies & was NOT born in Israel & certainly did not ride a Donkey into Jerusalem.ENOCH- another Orthodox Candidate could not fulfill the Prophecies because he came before many of the Prophecies about the MOSHIACH
I do believe that by having BOTH the Jews- Karaite-Orthodox-Messianic-gentiles converts etc working together to correct ALL the False Doctrine- we will finally come close to te Full Truth- with the Help of the Ruach & become ECHAD as the BRIDE ISRSAEL
