So  and in the heat of lets not forget the "Golden Shower". Perhaps this is my distortion, but we have military, that are actually defending our lifes froIslamic terrorists who hunt the heads of both Jew and Gentile, but find less appalling Marines with a SS flag? Is it just me? Could I possibly be right that the 3rd Reich never died, it just changed its name to jihad, taliban, alquedda? Hmm..........something is so very wrong here people. Very wrong and the government though they think not likely do believe that we all should make provisions for preparedness. Yah.

Peace forever Leo,

I would be interested on what the Catholic church says about this era of history.

Maybe you could shed light on this issue for everyone.

EWH

R'fuah sh 'leimah EWH and to all,

First I want to say that just because some one falls under the Catholic tent it does not mean we agree with all of the Churches decisions nor are we not aware of some very ugly truths within the Church. We are well aware of "the shot that was heard around the world". Catholics do not use the King James Bible as we all know that during the inqusistion what the English King did do to his Spanish bride i.e. Boleyn sisters.

I find odd that the nuns (this case Domican, no irony there) are usually the most vocal of forces. This weekend and the series of lectures will continue, are having speeches calling Catholics into duty at this most important of times. Diocese and type of Catholics are numerous and I could not even begin to tell you. The lecturers are NOT all of the Catholic faith!

I had mentioned before that a statement was issued by the Vatican, that all Jews are not collectively responsible for the death of Jesus. Then changes to mass went to the original Judaic version. Odd?

Then there is the acknowlegded but not spoken about people called Charsmatic Catholics to which I would probablyuse as my descriptor. Or course Hitler was educated Catholic where Global Thinking and how to teach anyone is used!! If one uses the concept of the devil , Hitler fits the bill, who would know the Bible best and use its very own words to distort the truth? He would attack and use to His benefit the strongest branch on the tree, this being the "root" of the Christian faith. But he uses the word grandiose..... interesting, very. Look how the term is used in psychology it is used to describe delusion, giving a person to think themselves of more importance then they are. Catholics are up in arms!!!! Some of us beleive that we are not there as just merely Catholics but as defenders of G-d!!! An army there to not to allow the defilement of the Church upon via Jesus established by Peter!! We will not abandon our posts, and that is not loyal to a physical body here on the earth. All other christian religions love to make Catholics their scapecoat only second to Jews until recently, but many think we are going to hell. We do not prescribe to the notion of salvation as other Christian faiths, we to beleive we died by G-d's grace and the cruxifiction updain salvation. The parish I attend, trust me the priest would be in BIG trouble for some of the things he says and at every mass he says to pray and embrace our brethren the Jewish people. We have plenty of the pious on the pews. But the move the Church made towards Obama, was to defeat an enemy, they took a crack, the issue is far from birth control, and its far from over. This new Archbishop, he so far seems to be a very good man, the Pope, for me the jury is still out,he traveled to Germany not so long ago, their pews are EMPTY. Ours are presently so full, they are adding chairs around the sides and opening up the glass soundproof children and parents room. I most definately fall under our good priest's "problem child". Good Catholics believe in humanitarian and sociol activism, it is a moral responsibility to feed and clothe children , poor, widowed, sick, grieving, we cannot call ourselves Catholics if we do not see a need and act, and now their are multiple calls to work for this and to join forces with our neighbors!! I answered this particular discussion as I seen the activity here and it is my duty as a Catholic, with definate, and the DNA is conclusive for the doubters of my Jewish lineage, to respond and bring words of PEACE and ministry and LOVE for all G-d's Children, to submit to the Almighty and preform good works for His namesake. I have always said the devil shows up to church every Sunday, even if its from across the street! We know!!! The Pope is suppose to be a Vicar of Christ, who was Christ-- G-d!?!!! Why so surprising the gospels of Paul most certainly matched that of the OT? His law is forever!!!!! Wine and the unleavened bread as the HOLY EUCHARIST!!! ( and one is prepared and the preparation of that is painstakenly upheld) catholics are not allowed to recieve the Eucharist outside the Church as it would be an act of blashempy!! Do it often in rememberance of ME!!!! YAH!!! And I do not say this as a person wishing to convert, for my brother EWH has definately been righteous, we need to find away to see the similiarities , identify the problem, determine solutions and act/work together!!!! Same G-d different view!! Lucifer," bearer of light", think about it people! More later as this is a very important OPEN discussion!!!! LOVE, the most important of these!!! Listen with an open and G-dly heart!!! Leave assumptions at the door!! Spiritual eyes!!!! Seek Him and those to fellowship, ones of kindred SPIRIT!!!

Peace be with you and also in Spirit/Shalom!!!

In my practice, I came across alot of different "type" of so called Christians, and those with Jewish souls. To bridge the gap, I often recomended the movie "Stolen Summer". It is made by the brilliant minds of Ben Afflick and Matt Damon. The majority of responses have been "wow" I see things differently. It is a tear jerker, and some may want to condem as yet just another means to indoctrate non-Christians, as a Catholic I seen it more as how similiar we are, and why the Catholic faith has been demonized. But who I appreciated the most was the resolve of the Rabbi, so much like King David in a sense, it certainly, gives both sides some things to think about. I suggest its watched as a family and used for a discussion as to the bias we all form, especially from our limited vantage points. At least it shows the commonality of the human condition, the same for all.
