Ninth Candle Teachers and the Incarnation of the Torah

This is just a thought that came after reading the many postings from Hez on the subject of Chanukah and the physics of light. There are many, many teachers who have the ability to give knowledge as an external teaching and there are many students who are quite satisfied with that increase in knowledge and of course there is value in all that. Then there are the great teachers of divine wisdom who have become the incarnation of the teaching. It seems as though they have given up all possession of knowledge in order to embody wisdom. Throughout the Bible we hear these teachers speak in the first person as though they themselves were speaking as G-d. Something has occurred internally at a very deep level for these teachers/prophets to speak with such authority and Truth. What have they discovered?

Hez, I am going to light the candle tomorrow and I will pray that G-d would bless us on SWW with a ninth candle teacher.

Are you really a construction worker in your other life?

That sounds very good. I'm the mother of five and I think it keeps me balanced, a little crazy - but firmly rooted in real life while persuing and resposning to the nefesh.

Do you have a teacher?

Other life? Working for a living is everyone's real life. The only life I have is a real life. Yes, I've been working one end of construction or the other the last almost 30 years LOL There you go,chavera,a real view of observant Jewish life.Torah is a constant no matter what we are doing and teaching, writing and giving lectures on Torah is something I'm commanded to do in Torah . It's also something I love to do.
