Hi my name is Florence, I am new here. I read your question on the New Testament, and I have not opinions, but I do know a little about what you have asked. I do know that Testament means covenant, and covenant means, agreement, or contract, or marriage. So there was an old covenant that was written on stone that was out side of man, and the new was and is to be inside of mans heart, according to Jeremiah 31:31-34. So you would have to get a Bible with the Prophets in it to see what I am talking about. And yes the New Testament has been tampered with as well as all others that man has handled.Once they saw things in it that would free the people minds and souls from their controls they felt that they should add to it as well as take away for its true intentions.
The New Testament are letters that were written by Paul (Saul) Peter, Timothy, James and John while in prison or jail to the fellowship of people that were in places that they Evangelised all over the country in which they visited. Spreading the good news of the one that was promised that would come to bring mankind back into good standing of the Most High God or Yah...Yahoshua was promised to come to brake down those boulders that separated man from coming in the presence of Yah. And those boulders were saying that the Most High God did not mean what he was saying.
So in the eyes sight of man, it was impossible for someone to be in the likeness of man to come to show us the way back to the Most High God Yah. Now if it wasn't them they were not going to make sure man would follow these men teachings, so they put them in jail and made false statement about them and made laws to keep them behind bar until they murdered them. And they took their writings and added to them when they could. But the spirit of truth which was promised by Jesus (Yahoshua). But Yahoshua show man that the Old covenant could live inside of our hearts and soul (Emotion) and we could obey them if our heart were right and clean. We could hear it in its purest form. We would not need man to teach it to us, the Yah himself would teach us it, strait from his mouth, heart. It took me years to come to this place in mind. It took me years of studying both the Old and New to understand this. It took me years of seeing how the church systems work at keeping people in a place of blindness and sleepiness, but at the same time ignorant of the truth. They remind me of the ones that were in the days of Moses, when they did not want to hear his God (Yah) they wanted to make up their own gods, that would satisfy their hunger to be lied to. They rose up against Moses because he spoke those things in which they did not want to hear, or they felt that he brought them into a place that was not of their liking. All these things are in the New Testament, but it has to be rightly divided in order to see it clearly. You would have to know the principles in the Old in order to understand the New. Remember that one was on the outside of man and the other one means inside man and there is nothing added or taken away. It is all the same. It is the Yahoshua is come already and is here in us if we let him. His spirit is real and it is his spirit that will connect us to Yah, none other... if you need more please let me know...I would like to share more if you need it. Or do you guys believe that the Messiah came already or are you looking for another? if so I am in the wrong place...I know that I am a real Jew.
Shalom Tamla,
I also have discovered that the New Testament is not trustworthy. As I studied the Tanakh I discovered that much of what is written in the New Testament is lies. To me the New Testament is a book of confusion and lies, therefore I no longer use it.
As far as it being a new covenant, that also is a lie. YeHoWaH will make a new covenant with Israel when they turn from their idolatry and return to Him. The first covenant was broken by Israel and this is the reason for a new one. When YeHoWaH brings Judah (the southern kingdom), and Israel (the northern kingdom) together, and sets up His kingdom for the second time, then He will make a new covenant with Israel. This new covenant will be written on their hearts and they shall all know YeHoWaH and love and obey Him. The only book I study from is the Tanakh which contains the word of YeHoWaH written by His prophets.
Shalom and Blessings,
Sandra.
Hi Suzanne,
The covenant which was made with the children of Israel between YeHoWaH and the children of Israel is the covenant which was broken.
The Hebrew Matthew or the New Testament has nothing to do with that covenant or the renewing of that covenant.
It is the covenant between YeHoWaH and all Israel, which YeHoWaH will make again with all Israel, and will write it on the hearts of all of the children of Israel, when YeHoWaH restores His kingdom.
Shalom,
Sandra.

Sandra,Sorry it is suppose to be 2 seperate issues, the covenants and the New Testament.
This is my understanding of the covenants.
1. Abrahamic - unconditional, his son from the promise, Isaacs decendants will be YHWH 's chosen people, they will
be blessed and YHWH"s Name is called out over them for ever and ever, they the Jews/Israelites can not break this covenant because its unconditional.
2. Mosaic- not unconditional they will live in harmony in the land eretz Israel if they obey and live Torah.
3. Davidic - someone of the house of David will always be on the throne of Judah.
So if a covenant was broken it will be the Mosaic covenant? Am I correct?
Second issue regarding the NT,I am also not comfortable with the wording "New Testament" if youve read Matthew when Nehemiah Gordon who is a Jewish person explain it,it really make sense.
Shalom
Suzanne

Sandra,
Thank you for information on book. I will look for it. Is it the same informatin as the video on his website. Mr. Gordon is still a Kariate Jew. That means he still only follows Tanakh? How does this fit in NT, OT discussion? (not at all trying to be rude) Does he believe NT is valid? If so, how does he remain Kariate?

At this point, I believe Yeshua could have been A messiah-one of many. Yesterday, I said outloud for the first time, I don't believe he is God. But if the NT is correct and did come as a messenger, as an anointed one, to point us back to God...
1. Why did he make very confusing statements like:
Mar 2:28 Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the Sabbath.
Mar 8:35 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.
Mar 9:39 But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak evil of me.
Mar 9:42 ¶ And whosoever shall offend one of [these] little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea.
Mar 14:22 ¶ And as they did eat, Jesus took bread, and blessed, and brake [it], and gave to them, and said, Take, eat: this is my body.
Mar 14:23 And he took the cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave [it] to them: and they all drank of it.
Mar 14:24 And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many.
2. Why did he allow people to worship him?
3. Why as the woman with the issue of blood out in public. Shouldn't she have been shut up as she was unclean?
4. If Jesus was a priest, High priest, why did Jesus keep going around dead people. There are prohibitions against that in law. We never heard of him being cleansed by ashes of red heifer in any of gospels.
5. Did anyone cast out devils in OT?
I hope you guys don't try to eat me for lunch. I really want to hear valid answers to these questions. My greatest fear is that I have answered myself, as I wrote this email. I have loved Jesus for years. Really, I still do. I want to believe in him, but the scriptures just doesn't add up. I can't continue a lifestyle of lies.
Dear Tamla I will try with the grace of YHWH to explain every question you ask.
fisrt of all Nehemia is still a Karaite Jew,he intimately knows the Scritures,Old and New Testament, and for some reason he bothers with Christians and for that I love him soooo much!!!
