Is it Beautiful in South Africa, today? I love all of your beautiful writings. You put so much time and effort into your answers. I enjoy the way you call us, "sisters". I do have couple of questions. What version of the bible are you using? I was reading NKJ this week with my children. We were reading Matthew. 99% of the scriptures that are referenced in Matthew to the OT are inappropriately used. They don't exactly say what Matthew says they say. They seem to be taken out of context in all but one circumstance. I was very frustrated. My oldest son said, "well the Jews were right, should we even believe in Jesus"? My youngest son was upset, told his oldest brother to go to bed. I think this is my issue with NT. It is not simple enough for a child to understand and not be frustrated. Where will it lead people who have no faith? If it is supposed to be the infallible word of God. It makes his word, look a little schizophrenic, and that AIN'T my God.

Permalink Reply by BatYah Spiker on March 6, 2010 at 8:14am I thought that gentile means foreign nations in the old testament and non jew in the new testament. Can you show me how you come to "pagan"? I know the nations were pagan in their practices but is that true of all. Was not the city of Ninevah converted and were they not the nations (gentiles)?

Earlier you refered to yourself as a "gentile". Are you aware that the word means "Pagan"?

I believe that reading the New Testament causes us to err from the words of knowledge. The following proverb is good advice for those who read the New Testament.
Proverbs 19:27 Cease, my son, to hear the instruction that causeth to err from the words of knowledge.
The following is also good advice for those who are being persecuted because they are seeking truth from the Tanakh only.
Proverbs 19:28-29 An ungodly witness mocketh at right; and the mouth of the wicked devoureth iniquity. Judgments are prepared for scorners, and stripes for the back of fools.
YeHoWaH will strengthen those who love Him and seek His truth. The following are verses which give me strength and encouragement to continue to seek truth and obey YeHoWaH.
Psalm 9:7-10 YeHoWaH is enthroned for ever; He hath established His throne for judgment. And He will judge the world in righteousness, He will minister judgment to the peoples with equity. YeHoWaH also will be a high tower for the oppressed, a high tower in times of trouble; And they that know Thy name will put their trust in Thee; for thou, YeHoWaH, hast not forsaken them that seek Thee.
Psalm 22:26 Let the humble eat and be satisfied; let them praise YeHoWaH that seek after Him; may your heart be quickened for ever!
Psalm 119:2 Happy are they that keep His testimonies, that seek Him with the whole heart.
Proverbs 16:1-9 The preparations of the heart are man's, but the answer of the tongue is from YeHoWaH. All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but YeHoWaH weigheth the spirits. Commit thy works unto YeHoWaH, and thy thoughts shall be established. YeHoWaH hath made every things for His own purpose, yea, even the wicked for the day of evil. Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to YeHoWaH; my hand upon it! he shall not be unpunished. By mercy and truth iniquity is expiated; and by the fear of YeHoWaH men depart from evil. When a man's ways please YeHoWaH, He maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him. Better is a little with righteousness than great revenues with injustice. A man's heart deviseth his way; but YeHoWaH directeth his steps.
Jeremiah 29:11-13 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith YeHoWaH, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. And ye shall call upon Me, and go, and pray unto Me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek Me, and find Me, when ye shall search for Me with all your heart.
Leviticus 19:31 Turn ye not unto the ghosts, nor unto familiar spirits; seek them not out, to be defiled by them: I am YeHoWaH your God.
Leviticus 20:6-8 And the soul that turneth unto the ghosts, and unto the familiar spirits, to go astray after them, I will even set My face against that soul, and will cut him off from among his people. Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy; for I am YeHoWaH your God. And keep ye My statutes, and do them: I am YeHoWaH who sanctify you.
I have these verses posted on my web browser home page, so I can read them every time I start up my internet browser. They remind me of YeHoWaH's love for me and of my responsibility to continue to seek Him and obey his word.
Shalom and Blessings,
Sandra.

Where is the scripture that supports your view that Yahoshua is the son of God? Where in the Tanakh is Yehoshua even mentioned? If he is really the son of YeHoWaH who came to save the world surley he would have been mentioned. I have searched the Tanakh and have not found any mention of him, as have many others who have come out of this idolatry. I used to believe as you do, but YeHoWaH showed me through His word that I was deceived. You also are deceived. Turn from your idolatry and seek YeHoWaH and He will show you His truth. We do not need Yahoshua to have joy. We do not need Yahoshua for salvation. We do not need Yahoshua at all.
I pray that YeHoWaH will bring you out of idolatry and show you His truth.
Blessings,
Sandra.
