Good Morning Florence,
Is it Beautiful in South Africa, today? I love all of your beautiful writings. You put so much time and effort into your answers. I enjoy the way you call us, "sisters". I do have couple of questions. What version of the bible are you using? I was reading NKJ this week with my children. We were reading Matthew. 99% of the scriptures that are referenced in Matthew to the OT are inappropriately used. They don't exactly say what Matthew says they say. They seem to be taken out of context in all but one circumstance. I was very frustrated. My oldest son said, "well the Jews were right, should we even believe in Jesus"? My youngest son was upset, told his oldest brother to go to bed. I think this is my issue with NT. It is not simple enough for a child to understand and not be frustrated. Where will it lead people who have no faith? If it is supposed to be the infallible word of God. It makes his word, look a little schizophrenic, and that AIN'T my God.

Sister I read from the Old King James version. I can not make your children believe in something that you yourself have questions about. But I can say this though I am a Jew and I believe in him and on him. I have read the English version when i was a child as well as the old King James version, and I found that it became more clear to me because I prayed and ask the Most High Yah for understanding as I read and I wanted to know without any opinions before reading it and I let him teach me. I do feel bad because you have not found what you say that you are looking for. But I do not feel bad that I understand him and now that he is real. My prayers are for you and your children and hopefully you will find it. Because will never leave you in confusion and Yahoshua is found in the Old Testament as well. And if you hear him he is telling you where he is at. He is the bread of life, the manna, the is the water, he is the seed, the fish and loaves of bread. I do not know of anything else I can share with you. First of all you have to believe he his the rewarder of those that diligently seek for him. I have not been to bed yet and it is 10:30am, I am getting ready to go to bed. If I can't help you, I do not want to harm you. It is up to you how far you really want to go no one can make you believe but you...When you step into the elevator and push the button you believe that that elevator will take you to the floor you punch do you? And that is blind faith wouldn't you say? Well since you have a relationship with Yah ask him and he will show you, and get an Old King James and you can read correctly the scriptures I gave you. I am sleepy and once I awake I can share more with you. And not all will believe, that is find as well. I am not trying to make you believe only sharing . Shalom and good morning....

Hello Tamla,

You are in a process and it will take time. May I suggess that you read the Hebrew scriptures for now, setting aside the NT for a time. I actually bought a Hebrew/English Tanakh, every time that I read where the L-RD states that He is "ONE", I underlined that verse. He will show you the truth. Study for yourself, one means one not two or three. I to came out of the goofy Pentacostal church and believe me, all that Sandra says about that llisten to it, she is right. Don't try to figure everything out all at once, it will drive you crazy. It will be revealed in time. The main point right now is to let HaShem reveal to you any idolatry that you/we are involved in and repenting of it. HaShem wants to remove the Baal's from our midst. Ask Him to show you in His word and He will, I promise, if you are seeking truth.

Earlier you refered to yourself as a "gentile". Are you aware that the word means "Pagan"?

The word translated as "gentile" in the Torah is the Hebrew word "goy" its definition is according to Strongs
H1471
גּי גּוי
gôy gôy
go'ee, go'-ee
Apparently from the same root as H1465 (in the sense of massing); a foreign nation; hence a Gentile; also (figuratively) a troop of animals, or a flight of locusts: - Gentile, heathen, nation, people.

Context is very important. When you look into the over 500 times this word gentile is used in scripture, especially by YHWH is refers to anyone who is NON Yisrael, for example:

Eze 36:16 -36 And the word of יהוה came to me, saying,
“Son of man, when the house of Yisra’ĕl dwelt in their own land, they defiled it by their own ways and deeds. To Me their way was like the uncleanness of a woman in her monthly period. “So I poured out My wrath on them for the blood they had shed on the land, and for their idols they defiled it. “And I scattered them among the gentiles, and they were dispersed throughout the lands. Gentile according to the way YHWH obviously sees them means anyone who is not a Yisraelite. To be a Yisraelite you must be walking in Torah

Exo 12:49 “There is one Torah for the native-born and for the stranger who sojourns among you.”

I am a Yisraelite I am not a gentile.

We too went through this process. I found this article that helped with my studies.

Later my husband and I met the man who wrote this article and we are now a part of his congregation in SC.

As far as the "new Testament" itself, you have been give great advice so far. The biggest thing is to study the Torah first, then go back and read say Matthew. what a difference you will see.There is tov(good) and rah(bad) in all things. We use the old adage, dont throw the baby out with the bath water. Knowing who Yahshua was and reading the "new testament" with a Hebrew perspective is an eye opening thing.

It is Torah that is the Truth,

The rest of what we call the bible (tanach, new testament, etc.) is the inspired writings of men and could be called commentary......if it is read with scriptural lens' filtering out our "religious teachings of men" one finds Torah in its completeness being quoted throughout! The men who wrote these "scriptures" were Torah teachers / Torah keepers. If read with that understanding one finds that we do not need to pick and choose what we think is true or not. That is the problem with religion/man, doing what he thinks.

You are right, Yah is not separated from him self, He is Spirit, and they that Worship him must worship in Spirit and Truth. If you walk according to your own thoughts You will err. And he the reason that many erred was that, there was a time when the priest and elders took and hid the scriptures from the people until Ezra found them in the temple, for the only read to them what they wanted to here. The same as it is in this day. Now in the day People are looking for a Messiah to come, are they not? Well to keep people on the track of looking for another one they are hiding that the Messiah has already come so that Satan can bring into this world system his Messiah copy or look a like that will deceive this whole world. Now I see that you have a spirit that is pushing you to continue telling people to do not listen to anyone that is talking about the new Testament and many has gone on to other subjects. Believing Yahoshua is not taking anything from Yah, I believe on and in him more, I understand him more and every thing that he says makes more sense and all scriptures are making the picture more clear. And I am not ashame to say that you are correct. And And through the words of Yah, which is his Son Yahoshua, and his Comforter, which is his Spirit has made that very clear to me every word that proceeds out of the mouth of Yah. That is what I live by. He give everyone the opportunity to seek him with their whole heart and gives them the right to believe and see for them selves. This is what the New Covenant do and allows. He is not taking us by the hand like he did in the wilderness, but creating in us a new heart, a clean heart, all of those that that will hear his words that are spoken by him whom he sent. He sent Moses, and the Prophets, What make you think that he could not send his Son, Now the only one that would be angry with that is Satan, he have always been jealous of anyone that would receive more attention then him. He himself was once one with Yah, but he separated himself through his one conceited heart, full of deceit, and he do not want anyone to see that the Most High God has a plan that he could not interfer with, or knew about it until it came in to view. Nor do he know the mind of Yah any more of feel Yah Spirit any more, nor enter into that peaceful essence any more. and he do not want anyone that has a chance to enter into that place. He knows if some one was to receive of that Spirit of the Most High that they could see who he is, and would understand the true intentions of the words of Yah or Law of Yah. Satan know the letter of the words or Law of Yah, remember that he was once there. But no more, and he will take a many as he can that would listen to his Lies, and he will steal your joy, Yahoshusa is my joy, (word) that was manifested in the flesh and I rejoice at his presence. I am not ashamed of the gospel of Yahoshua, it is the understanding of it that makes me free, and I am a true Jew...and believe in the Torah all of it is true no questions that has not been answered, by the Torah, and conformed by Yah Spirit, which is the Comforter, which is the Spirit of Truth, Which is the invited guess which mean the Holy Ghost that bears witness that Yahoshua is real... in my mind and heart...And they do agree in one.. that is what I mean they are one...Everything is true, I got that understanding from the Holy Ghost...

Psalm 22:26 Let the humble eat and be satisfied; let them praise YeHoWaH that seek after Him; may your heart be quickened for ever!

Psalm 119:2 Happy are they that keep His testimonies, that seek Him with the whole heart.

Proverbs 16:1-9 The preparations of the heart are man's, but the answer of the tongue is from YeHoWaH. All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but YeHoWaH weigheth the spirits. Commit thy works unto YeHoWaH, and thy thoughts shall be established. YeHoWaH hath made every things for His own purpose, yea, even the wicked for the day of evil. Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to YeHoWaH; my hand upon it! he shall not be unpunished. By mercy and truth iniquity is expiated; and by the fear of YeHoWaH men depart from evil. When a man's ways please YeHoWaH, He maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him. Better is a little with righteousness than great revenues with injustice. Jeremiah 29:11-13 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith YeHoWaH, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. And ye shall call upon Me, and go, and pray unto Me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek Me, and find Me, when ye shall search for Me with all your heart.

Leviticus 19:31 Turn ye not unto the ghosts, nor unto familiar spirits; seek them not out, to be defiled by them: I am YeHoWaH your God.

Leviticus 20:6-8 And the soul that turneth unto the ghosts, and unto the familiar spirits, to go astray after them, I will even set My face against that soul, and will cut him off from among his people. Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy; for I am YeHoWaH your God. And keep ye My statutes, and do them: I am YeHoWaH who sanctify you.

I have these verses posted on my web browser home page, so I can read them every time I start up my internet browser. They remind me of YeHoWaH's love for me and of my responsibility to continue to seek Him and obey his word.

The study of the ancient Hebrew pictographs brings out much meaning. For instance Yeshua means salvation. YHVH in the ancient Hebrew can mean "salvation comes from the nailed hand of Yah" He is salvation, He is the Aleph Tav, He is the Word, the aleph tav is there in the beginning. Yah has all always sent His son to earth. The testimony(s) are there, if you do not believe them study Torah and the ancient Hebrew.

Shalom: I am out of idolatry and have never been one once I was born again, you see you could tell me anything if I did not know for my self, this thing personal for myself. You see that I am not talking as a person that have not had a total work over by this system called fairy tales. I know that the letter kills the true meaning of Yah Spirit (motiving force) of his word. And if a person wants to pick and choose things that would keep them in a place that they can be blinded then that is up to them. It is with a pure heart that you can see Yah's true intentions, it is like a door that opens up to you if you really love and honor his vision for the true purpose in which you were created. In Isa. 61:1-3 tells me that Yah foretold those that one was to come to preach good tidings to the meek. And this blessed my soul to know Yah had prepared my heart to receive him. Nothing you can do or say that would make me disbelieve that I have found him, or rather that he has found me. Yes I am a Jew believing that he is come into my presence and if he has not come to you, that is not my problem. All I can do is pray for you that you become meek enough so that he can reveal him to you. I rejoice because he is revealed to me, I rejoice because I was found worthy to receive his messenger of hope and shown that flesh and blood could be put under control to the obedience of every word that proceeds out of the mouth of Yah, not just speak it, but to become one with them, not above him, not taking any glory from him, but in agreeing with him, that is what Yahoshua did and is still doing even in this day. I do not worship him, I do thank him for being obedient to Yah. He did not come to do his own will but the Fathers. And that make SATAN so angry. I am not angry with you, for saying what you are saying to me. You are entitled to have your opinions and I am entitle to receive what is my right to have. And that is having a relationship with Yah and all that he is. And since Yahoshua is apart of that then so be it...if that is what the Most High desires it to be then why should any of us be angry? There are many other Places that I can share with you, but something is telling me that even if I showed you, you would find many other reasons in which you do not want to believe it. I would like to talk about some thing else that would put some meat on my bones or wind under my wings so that I could shore. I did not come to this place to argue, but to share and receive from my sisters and brothers in the name of Yah, who is above all gods, including me... (Ps 82:6; John 10:32) By the way Jer. wrote part of Psalms so...I found the volume of the books that was written of Yahoshua to do Yah's will. Now can idol worship do that? Now you seek it...much love and prayers for you. Let talk latter...

Dear Nan when I refer to myself as a gentile,for me it means that I am not born from A Jewish mother and or father,my ancestors are from the Netherlands,and yes I know that Western Europe use to worship Pagan gods, you know all of it e.g. Astarte,Diana,Tammuz ect.
But I also firmly believe in the two house theology,in short Jews and Joes meaning I am a Joe,belonging to the ancient lost tribes of Yisrael...and one day we will be united with our Jewish brothers and sisters and we will be governed by "Isiaha's Prince of Peace -Yeshua Hamassiach
