I have been on this path ,(Jer. 6:16 -Thus saith YHVH, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the ancient paths, where [is] the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls.) for 4 years. I was a "devout Christian" also and experienced many of the same things you have described. I am no longer "in the Church" ,but I have not rejected Jesus/Yeshua as he is the way/door I went thru to know the Father. No one can take this from me as it is a personal experience .It is an inner knowing. I love Jesus/Yeshua but that does not mean I worship him.What I have rejected is man's traditions and teachings about Jesus/Yeshua that are not truth. This is an ongoing learning process and I by no means have "arrived" . I think many have shared how they search the scriptures and pray for YHVH to reveal the truth. It seems to me this is a good way that you have already been practicing.

When I first came out of Christianity I was concerned as you are about giving up Jesus, but as I studied the Tanakh YeHoWaH showed me that everything I had ever been taught about Jesus was a lie. I came to the point that I realized that worshiping Jesus is idolatry. YeHoWaH is calling us to turn from our idolatry which we have been taught by our fathers and turn to Him with our whole heart. Giving up Jesus is giving up idolatry. Once you have done it completely you will feel at peace and YeHoWaH will bless you with much wisdom and understanding of His word, as He has done for me. Once I gave up Jesus, the Tanakh became much clearer, the prophecies in the Tanakh are so clear to me where before they made no sense. Once you start trusting in YeHoWaH completely to lead you and give you understanding of His word then you will have no doubts. He will write His word upon your heart and your relationship with Him will be much closer and more special.

My advice is stop worrying about what you are going to say about giving up Jesus, and give your whole heart to YeHoWaH, He will bless you, guide you and lead you on the path of righteousness for His name sake.

May YeHoWaH be with you and give you comfort and peace, strength and joy, wisdom and understanding, love and blessings.

YeHoWaH is calling us to turn from our idols and return to Him.

Jeremiah 3:12-25 Go, and proclaim these words toward the north, and say: Return, thou backsliding Israel, saith YeHoWaH; I will not frown upon you; for I am merciful, saith YeHoWaH, I will not bear grudge for ever. Only acknowledge thine iniquity, that thou hast transgressed against YeHoWaH thy God, and hast scattered thy ways to the strangers under every leafy tree, and ye have not hearkened to My voice, saith YeHoWaH. Return, O backsliding children, saith YeHoWaH; for I am a lord unto you, and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion; and I will give you shepherds according to My heart, who shall feed you with knowledge and understanding. Return, ye backsliding children, I will heal your backslidings. - 'Here we are, we are come unto Thee; for Thou art YeHoWaH our God. Truly vain have proved the hills, the uproar on the mountains; truly in YeHoWaH our God is the salvation of Israel. But the shameful thing hath devoured the labour of our fathers from our youth; their flocks and their herds, their sons and their daughters. Let us lie down in our shame, and let our confusion cover us; for we have sinned against YeHoWaH our God, we and our fathers, from our youth even unto this day; and we have not hearkened to the voice of YeHoWaH our God.'

Nehemia 1:4-9 And it came to pass, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept, and mourned certain days; and I fasted and prayed before the God of heaven, and said: 'I beseech Thee, O YeHoWaH the God of heaven, the great and awful God, that keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love Him and keep His commandments; let Thine ear now be attentive, and Thine eyes open, that Thou mayest hearken unto the prayer of Thy servant, which I pray before Thee at this time, day and night, for the children of Israel Thy servants, while I confess the sins of the children of Israel, which we have sinned against Thee; yea, I and my father's house have sinned. We have dealt very corruptly against Thee, and have not kept the commandments, nor the statutes, nor the ordinances which Thou didst command Thy servant Moses. Remember, I beseech Thee, the word that Thou didst command Thy servant Moses, saying: If ye deal treacherously, I will scatter you abroad among the peoples; but if ye return unto Me, and keep My commandments and do them, though your dispersed were in the uttermost part of the heaven, yet will I gather them from thence, and will bring them unto the place that I have chosen to cause My name to dwell there.

Jeremiah 16:19-21 O YeHoWaH, my strength, and my stronghold, and my refuge, in the day of affliction, unto Thee shall the nations come from the ends of the earth, and shall say: 'Our fathers have inherited nought but lies, vanity and things wherein there is no profit.' Shall a man make unto himself gods, and they are no gods? Therefore, behold, I will cause them to know, this once will I cause them to know My hand and My might; and they shall know that My name is YeHoWaH.

Ezekiel 14:1-11 Then came certain of the elders of Israel unto me, and sat before me. And the word of YeHoWaH came unto me, saying: 'Son of man, these men have set up their idols in their mind, and put the stumblingblock of their iniquity before their face; should I be inquired of at all by them? Therefore speak unto them, and say unto them: Thus saith the Lord YeHoWaH: Every man of the house of Israel that setteth up his idols in his mind, and putteth the stumblingblock of his iniquity before his face, and cometh to the prophet - I YeHoWaH will answer him that cometh according to the multitude of his idols; that I may take the house of Israel in their own heart, because they are all turned away from Me through their idols. Therefore say unto the house of Israel: Thus saith the Lord YeHoWaH: Return ye, and turn yourselves from your idols; and turn away your faces from all your abominations. For every one of the house of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel, that separateth himself from Me, and taketh his idols into his heart, and putteth the stumblingblock of his iniquity before his face, and cometh to the prophet, that he inquire for him of Me - I YeHoWaH will answer him by Myself, and I will set My face against that man, and will make him a sign and a proverb, and I will cut him off from the midst of My people; and ye shall know that I am YeHoWaH. And when the prophet is enticed and speaketh a word, I YeHoWaH have enticed that prophet, and I will stretch out My hand upon him, and will destroy him from the midst of My people Israel. And they shall bear their iniquity; the iniquity of the prophet shall be even as the iniquity of him that inquireth; that the house of Israel may go no more astray from Me, neither defile themselves any more with all their transgressions; but that they may be My people, and I may be their God, saith the Lord YeHoWaH.'

Ezekiel 20:18-38 And I said unto their children in the wilderness: Walk ye not in the statutes of your fathers, neither observe their ordinances, nor defile yourselves with their idols; I am YeHoWaH your God; walk in My statutes, and keep Mine ordinances, and do them; and hallow My sabbaths, and they shall be a sign between Me and you, that ye may know that I am YeHoWaH your God. As I live, saith the Lord YeHoWaH, surely with a mighty hand, and with an outstretched arm, and with fury poured out, will I be king over you; and I will bring you out from the peoples, and will gather you out of the countries wherein ye are scattered, with a mighty hand, and with an outstretched arm, and with fury poured out; and I will bring you into the wilderness of the peoples, and there will I plead with you face to face. Like as I pleaded with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt, so will I plead with you, saith the Lord YeHoWaH. And I will cause you to pass under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant; and I will purge out from among you the rebels, and them that transgress against Me; I will bring them forth out of the land where they sojourn, but they shall not enter into the land of Israel; and ye shall know that I am YeHoWaH.

Ezekiel 36:22-28 Therefore say unto the house of Israel: Thus saith the Lord YeHoWaH: I do not this for your sake, O house of Israel, but for My holy name, which ye have profaned among the nations, whither ye came. And I will sanctify My great name, which hath been profaned among the nations, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the nations shall know that I am YeHoWaH, saith the Lord YeHoWaH, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes. For I will take you from among the nations, and gather you out of all the countries, and will bring you into your own land. And I will sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean; from all your uncleannesses, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you. A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you; and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh. And I will put My spirit within you, and cause you to walk in My statutes, and ye shall keep Mine ordinances, and do them. And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be My people, and I will be your God.

Ezekiel 37:21-25 And say unto them: Thus saith the Lord YeHoWaH: Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the nations, whither they are gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land; and I will make them one nation in the land, upon the mountains of Israel, and one king shall be king to them all; and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all; neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions; but I will save them out of all their dwelling-places, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them; so shall they be My people, and I will be their God. And My servant David shall be king over them, and they all shall have one shepherd; they shall also walk in Mine ordinances, and observe My statutes, and do them. And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob My servant, wherein your fathers dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, they, and their children, and their children's children, for ever; and David My servant shall be their prince for ever.

Jeremiah 24:7 And I will give them a heart to know Me, that I am YeHoWaH; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God; for they shall return unto Me with their whole heart.

Exodus 20:3-6 Thou shalt have no other gods before Me. Thou shalt not make unto thee a graven image, nor any manner of likeness, of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; thou shalt not bow down unto them, nor serve them; for I YeHoWaH thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate Me; and showing mercy unto the thousandth generation of them that love Me and keep My commandments.

Exodus 23:13 And in all things that I have said unto you take ye heed; and make no mention of the name of other gods, neither let it be heard out of thy mouth.

Deuteronomy 5:7 Thou shalt have no other gods before Me.

Jeremiah 25:4-7 And YeHoWaH hath sent unto you all His servants the prophets, sending them betimes and often - but ye have not hearkened, nor inclined your ear to hear - saying: 'Return ye now every one from his evil way, and from the evil of your doings, and dwell in the land that YeHoWaH hath given unto you and to your fathers, for ever and ever; and go not after other gods to serve them, and to worship them, and provoke Me not with the work of your hands, and I will do you no hurt.' Yet ye have not hearkened unto Me, saith YeHoWaH; that ye might provoke Me with the work of your hands to your own hurt.

Judges 10:13 Yet ye have forsaken Me, and served other gods; wherefore I will save you no more.

Hosea 5:15 I will go and return to My place, till they acknowledge their guilt, and seek My face; in their trouble they will seek Me earnestly:

When we acknowledge our guilt and seek YeHoWaH, then YeHoWaH will be with us and teach us His ways. Do not be afraid to let go of the idols of your heart and return to YeHoWaH with your whole heart.

Psalm 118:1-29 'O give thanks unto YeHoWaH, for He is good, for His mercy endureth for ever.' So let Israel now say, for His mercy endureth for ever, So let the house of Aaron now say, for His mercy endureth for ever. So let them now that fear YeHoWaH say, for His mercy endureth for ever. Out of my straits I called upon YeHoWaH; He answered me with great enlargement. YeHoWaH is for me; I will not fear; what can man do unto me? YeHoWaH is for me as my helper; and I shall gaze upon them that hate me. It is better to take refuge in YeHoWaH than to trust in man. It is better to take refuge in YeHoWaH than to trust in princes. All nations compass me about; verily, in the name of YeHoWaH I will cut them off. They compass me about, yea, they compass me about; verily, in the name of YeHoWaH I will cut them off. They compass me about like bees; they are quenched as the fire of thorns; verily, in the name of YeHoWaH I will cut them off. Thou didst thrust sore at me that I might fall; but YeHoWaH helped me. YeHoWaH is my strength and song; and He is become my salvation. The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tents of the righteous; the right hand of YeHoWaH doeth valiantly. The right hand of YeHoWaH is exalted; the right hand of the YeHoWaH doeth valiantly. I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of YeHoWaH. YeHoWaH hath chastened me sore; but He hath not given me over unto death. Open to me the gates of righteousness; I will enter into them, I will give thanks unto YeHoWaH. This is the gate of YeHoWaH; the righteous shall enter into it. I will give thanks unto Thee, for Thou hast answered me, and art become my salvation. The stone which the builders rejected is become the chief corner-stone. This is YeHoWaH's doing; it is marvellous in our eyes. This is the day which YeHoWaH hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. We beseech Thee, O YeHoWaH, save now! We beseech Thee, O YeHoWaH, make us now to prosper! Blessed be he that cometh in the name of YeHoWaH; we bless you out of the house of YeHoWaH. YeHoWaH is God, and hath given us light; order the festival procession with boughs, even unto the horns of the altar. Thou art my God, and I will give thanks unto Thee; Thou art my God, I will exalt Thee. O give thanks unto YeHoWaH, for He is good, for His mercy endureth for ever.

Psalm 128:1-6 A Song of Ascents. Happy is every one that feareth YeHoWaH, that walketh in His ways. When thou eatest the labour of thy hands, happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee. Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine, in the innermost parts of thy house; thy children like olive plants, round about thy table. Behold, surely thus shall the man be blessed that feareth YeHoWaH. YeHoWaH bless thee out of Zion; and see thou the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life; And see thy children's children. Peace be upon Israel!

You are on the right path. You are the very elect of G-d and your future is glorious. This truth is HUGE (about the J-man) for us called out ones, and repentance must follow. There is no going back now, you are on your way to Zion.

I agree with Nan. YeHoWaH has blessed you to show you His truth. He has chosen you to return to Him. He loves you and is leading you according to His will. May YeHoWaH take away all of your fears. May YeHoWaH be with you and lead you in the path of righteousness for His name sake.

I have given up the traditions of Christian Jesus, as well as their customs of who he is, I am now on the road of who he really is and that is Truth, (final reality), which is the way in which man should live and practice obedience of everything that proceeds out to the mouth of Yah which is found in the Old Testament, (Torah) the scriptures of the Law and Prophets. Now we should practice to love one another with the love we have for our selves. And how can we love our selves if we really do not know or understand who our real selves are? We have to see our selves in Yah, in Yahoshua, because without a doubt he lived in a way to show man that no matter what we can obey Yah in all things he required us to do, even if it disagrees with the opinions of mans religious views and traditions and customs, as well as rituals and fears. We have to come into an maturity of wanting to understand and respect the reason of our makers purpose in which he created and made us in his image and likeness. Just as we should respect your earthly parents, we should want to respect our Heavenly Father which created our earthly parents. We should have more Love and respect for him about his own ideals of why he choose to do what he did toward us, and he allows opportunities for us to make up our minds rather we want to do it his way or follow your owns or another. This is how Yah is, but to be his you will have to do it his Way and that is in His Truth, His Way and His Life, and that is the whole reason that Salvations came in flesh and blood to show us that we can complete his plan for the last day (end times) people while living among, walking talking flesh an blood creatures. Our mind functions should be in a place where we are above the beastly thoughts that only want what they want,when they want it, no matter how they get it, or who they have to hurt in the process. We must know that there is an example of that function in flesh and blood of that living somewhere in history (His-story) Yah-story, we must know that there are eyes that can see it perfectly well, without err. We must know that there are those that can hear the sounds in harmony of the true voice, clear and without err. For all in the scripture it is written. Now we must know that all of that is here in the here and now without err.Or Yah is a lie, and we know that he can not lie. He can not lie, he can not lie, he can not lie, He can not lie....Love is the key, that is who he is, and it is not the love that man has control of, This love is our of their control, it can not be control by opinions of mankind or its machines. It is only shared by those who chose to be obedient to Yah true plan and purpose in its true intended operation. And that is though and in His (Yah) Spirit and Truth...
