Anyone care to share on how they live? Does attempting to keep the mind on the Torah ever distract you from serving the Lord Jesus? Or maybe looking for too much information all at once? Thanks

honoring shabbat, following torah is a given to a believer of Yeshua Ha Massiah.
gathering with the believers on shabbat is a given, it is what strengthens me in my walk (darek) in the Way of YeHoVah.
did u have a specific question or just in general.
have u seen the multiple groups here on SWW?
i have one on health/biblical kosher/scriptural healing.
shalom
As far as health/healing goes, I know what to do... the diet I know of surpasses BY FAR the diet outlined in Torah (we will do greater works than Yeshua) -- i.e.: raw vegan diet.
However, I feel that there are things I cannot know if I do not read Torah -- it contains secrets in it... besides which, YHWH illuminates words and gives special meaning to them...
I mean to say, can you give me a sort of "course" that a Christian following Torah might follow? I find that I have a lot of things I intend to do, but that I am disconnected from the Lawgiver, Whom I am saying I am attempting to serve.
I find myself straying from Him... too many things to put in words, I hope you understand... where's the love?..
Hello Daniel!
I was a devout Christian and the website www.netzarim.co.il helped me to understand that I believed in doctrines, which didn’t please our Creator, and it helped me to learn of how to relate to Him. I changed religion from Christianity to instead doing my utmost to keep Torah non-selectively in the spring of 2007. I haven’t regretted it for a single moment. I know that the Torah is the Creator’s Instruction manual for all of mankind and for all generations and I know how the Torah reads in Hebrew and thus I know that I am walking on the right path..
One must differentiate between the historical Torah-observant Jew called Y'hoshua described in the original authentic account of Matityahu – which Christians destroyed; ;and the anti-Torah ‘Jesus’ of the gospels whom teach against the Torah in many accounts.

Yehoshua was a human and thus not divine/”divine saviour”/”Son of God”. He was a spiritual son of the Creator and he taught that persons rejecting the Torah doesn’t receive forgiveness from the Creator. Documentation: Link
Serving 'Lord Jesus' is the antithesis of following Torah.

You never knew the Lord Jesus Christ.
Okay, I guess that is the direct route Daniel! I found myself continually bursting into a chuckle as I write this, so Rimmon I will be guilty, as I did not see this one!
My suggestion for you Daniel is do look at some posts, continue to seek on your own and know that many I find with the most personal walks dont need to cram their way down your throat. You have to remember that fellowship is extremely important, many have arrived to this site, so broken, myself included, and I believe, with the exception of the potential terrorists or "con" artist by virtue of the word Synagogue, this community watches each other's back. The point of this site is to share thoughts and ideas as truth seekers, to be able to engage in intelligent conversation, ask questions, to anwer questions, support, nourish, there are some very true fine and remarkable people on this site, some very notiary. But in true Christian spirit of the Christ, He was a man of peace, a truth is that His ultimate shown strength, was His kindness, as in when the Spirit is stong the flesh is weak, but then He is also the only man without sin , and if He were merely a man, that just is not possible, but beyond that, you must have fellowship and more importantly your own walk with Him, when one's walk matures its easy to see that all find the kingdom thru their relationship with G-d, your Spirit which dwelleth within you will lead you to your truth, and in knowing that, the more you will see acceptance, and their is a wide range of members, relationships beyond the site, friendships forged with people thousands of miles away that your spirit will KNOW is kindred. Love Him. Worship Him. But I know you will find growth on this site, even when ones have left, they still grew and I think they will be back as more truths are REVEALED. And some of us are more crazy than others but be patient--we all have lows, a bruised ego here and there but hey, they and you will still be here (hopefully), so welcome!
Incoming! We have a live one here!! Congratulations for finding this eccletic and purposeful group of the faithful, many have good works outside this sight, and though I jest, in many ways you had yet the most alarming post I have seen, when beleivers start to become so desperate that think He is not coming and lose hope, faith and love, yes these times area changing.....too soon for some (and they are in denial, and not soon enough for others) but under no circumstance try to motivate the end of the world, as that goes against it all, despite our personal suffering, hang tough, you find the groove here, the spot that is right.
There are some other new members here that I am very excited about and some old members re-emerging, and also know if some one does not get back with you right away, its because its they are ususally crazy busy, trying to make a difference in this desperate world and warn others of what they may see as potential dangers. I know that when Jews and Christians lay down doctrine and see the good in eachother and look for the similiarities and explain their beliefs, it is when VERY GREAT things are done, as been proven. We must join hands and hold on and fight TOGETHER as brothers and sisters in arms!!! And because many here have credentials, its wise to listen, and listening does require courage. But to the smallest to the largest, all have the capability to teach if one chooses to listen. And remember, we live in a distrustful world, most Jewish people, and even those who late find they are of Jewish/Hebrew descent, seem to be quite cautious with their gaurd up, and its for very good reason, very good reasons indeed. We are here for a reason.
Peace/Shalom-

And as long as possible, I will eat my food cooked. Even though I find myself convicted when pork is offered to the point of vomit, and many things that are Jewish will instantly bind to your spirit as truth i.e. Torah discovery of renewed laws for us all. I love a medium rare angus beef delmonico with a side of baked potato and caesars salad. And I will be honest, my love of esgargot in garlic butter and fresh bread with a good wine or beer, has not dimished.Food should be enjoyed and that stuff is mostly gross, and I am very open to new foods. Food is the most primitive form of offering between people, unless I was starving to death, and say it was a wake, and you came in with cold pea soup or a bunch of clery stalks, I would find them neither comforting or considerate, but too each their own. And if you love it, by all means, eat up. To my disappointement, I am extremely healthy and I am aware of what good "CLEAN" sustaining well balanced food and nutrition is and I know the value of eating food is the less processed form is always best, a little steam, wont hurt anybody!! But I dont like sushi as well, maybe just me. Much meditarranien culture has revelaed that its propeties in diet have been very beneficial health wise.
