Ok, so we have gotten home and settled back into our routines and finished our laundry(ha ha!).
Well, in LA, we had a little rain and a few pesky ants....BUT
We danced (and ate) and we sang (and ate) and went to some great teachings (and ate) and we met some more wonderful family (and ate)! Did I mention we had some great food? :)
Seriously, I feel as though we had a very kingdom profitable and joyous Sukkot. The town of St Francisville is very pretty and the Synagogue is beautiful! The campground area was also quite beautiful and peaceful. My favorite part was the gazebo out over the pond. That was very nice. Hopefully some one in our group will post some pictures soon, I dont have a camera at present so I cant do the honors there.
It was great to finally meet in person some of the people we have "seen" here on SWW and others we had never met before. I know all of us were touched and changed in some way by this experience. Todah Abba YHWH for this time!

Shalom,
BatYah

Every time I hear a shofor I want to grab a small piece of bread and then eat! LOL (that's how we were "called" at meal time).

Sorry BatYah...I have no photos to share. but I bet Remez (or is that Remone...) has some cool video of many of the daily adventures that took place during this time.

Today we are still cleaning and drying out sleeping gear and tents, I have had my canvas tent hanging in a tree along with most of my camping gear, (the neighbors are only slightly curious!)

You guys from SC slept 11 nights under the stars.....yes they were still there above the rain clouds....

Yes I agree with your positive reflection of this historic event, being joyous and Kingdom profitable! Did you mention the food? Yes the SC "tribe" was wonderful in their servant/giving attitude towards planning, preparing, presenting the meals....not to mention the steady clean up that was accomplished throughout the entire festival.

Did it rain??? LOL (we have many lost umbrellas at Temple Sinai, to clam one just show up at 10:30 AM any Sat morning and I will personally let you claim em......

This was a special event that we all will most certainly be remembering. I know I will!

Shalom,
dave
Weather aside, the boys and I had a wonderful time. I got to see dear friends that I've known for years but haven't seen in quite some time and meet so many new ones. I heard it several times over the weekend, and I agree, there's just something about being able to share those special times in person.

Thank you to everyone who helped make the festival run so smoothly! It's always nice to be in the company of such gracious people.

Shalom,
Jessie

It was great meeting all of you and I thank YHVH for the time we had together. You are right the food was great.
I loved the SWW and can't wait to start the painting of the Synagogue.
Blessings to all

Hey ya'll now Tami has added some photos of Sukkot too!
As for Sharon and I , we had a great time ... something very special. The dancing was great ... especially the exuberant participation of the children (and some adult children).

Our only regret was that we didn't get there sooner ... wayyy to short. We can't wait for next year.

Shalom

I agree Dave, it was very special. The memories of this Sukkot will last a lifetime.

Shabbat Shalom,

BatYah

Stephen,
It was really nice to get to meet you and Sharon at last. Hopefully next time we can all be together the whole of Sukkot rather than just a weekend.

Shabbat Shalom,

BatYah

I am still not finished unpacking. I think it is taking longer to unpack than it did to pack for Sukkot this year.

We were glad to be a part of Sukkot in Louisana this year. I look forward to what YHWH has in store for us all next year.

I have many pictures that I am trying to get organized for everyone to see. I put a few up on my page, but I have hundreds more to share.

Shalom to all our new friends (Mishpacha),
Tami
Our time in Louisiana during Sukkot has had a strange effect on my being. I noticed it most strongly since returning to Tennessee. Is there a malady known as 'Post Sukkot Syndrome?' If so, I may have it. The symptomes are a mixed lot... joyfulness, with a touch of sadness..a since of time passing much too quickly, with a feeling that next year is so farrrrrrrrrr away...daydreaming fond memories, when work should be being accomplished...reveling in the fact that Yahveh brought us all together, and courious about what He now has in store for us. If there is such a malady..I have it, however I am not looking for a cure..just another dose of what ails me! Yevarekhekha Yahveh veYishmerekha!
Shalom,
Batyah
