The Jesus Dynasty and Dynastic marriages

Dr. Tabor makes a compelling case for the "dynastic" nature of the family of Jesus, using the discoveries at Talpiot to support his theory. I am curious about the possibility of a "dynastic marriage" though. Dynastic marriages are usually arranged between two tribes or countries as a way to form a "peace treaty." According to Dr. Tabor, the primary function of Messiah would be the restoration of the house of Israel. If Jesus was a Messiah, and I believe was, then this Mariamene at Talpiot must have been of the tribe of Joseph, right?
