Teachers of SWW,

Could you please explain to me in plain terms about Lev 7 begining in verse 11, talking about the sacrifice of well-being? I would like to know how this pertains to us today as well, and how we can walk this out.

Thank You,

Nan

Dear Sandra,

I want to thank you once again my friend for your explanation of the Hebrew scriptures. It seems that this particular sacrifice does indeed pertain to me.

A couple of days ago I was distraught concerning a former relationship which will never be resolved. It cannot be resolved because the person involved will not see the wrong that they have inflicked upon me and others. This happened in my former Messianic Synagogue. 7 months later I still deal with some painful memories and have been asking HaShem to heal me of this pain. Before I wrote this forum, HaShem had led me to read Lev 7 starting at verse 11concerning this sacrifice. He was telling me to give Him thanks, perhaps this is what will heal me as well as others who are facing certain situations that are on-going in there lives.

I have decided to thank my G-D more often and in every situation "daily". I know to do this but have been negligent of it lately. I really do have so much to be thankful for and I should never stop thanking Him for His goodness toward me. I am confident that through this sacrifice, that He wants to heal me and others and restore us to a state of "Well-Being"

Thank You My G-D and My Father, You are so very good to Me, in all of your ways.

Shalom,
Nan
I have a little to offer....

The purpose of this offering was to draw near (Karab) to YHWH, a shalem offering. It was a thank you (todah) for YHWH's blessings upon the person.

Imagine it this way..... A man throws a party (barbeque), he feeds his family and friends; the intent of the party is to tell those attending of all of the blessings (or a particular blessing) that was bestowed upon them by the Most High.

This brings esteem to the Eternal.

We can do this today if we choose to. Give YHWH His due if He performs a wonder in your life...

Let all your friends know what The Almighty has done for you.

Barbeque anyone?

Shalom,

Allen
Hi Allen,

I have to correct you......

You have "ALOT" to offer, not "a little"!

I have learned what this sacrifice pertains to, and you "Betcha" I am doing it more. How can I help not to, He is better to me than I am to myself.

Nan
