Unintentionally, I violated Leviticus 19:19 this year. The results were immediate. See for yourself in these two short videos:

Great Work on the Video Docs............Left Much, Much Food for Thought and Consideration.

Earth White Horse, can you tell me more about the forests of asher? Asherah poles? Sacred groves?

EWH-Great music.

I was once into reading comparative religion and the one book that kept coming up time and time again was " The Golden Bough" by Sir James Frazer . This seems to be the one of the legendary milestones for comparative religious books .http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Golden_Bough
There were several references about tree spirits and magical forests but they were referring to mythology.
Denise, Just think of "synagogue without walls" as a place where Ross lets everyone share their spiritual jams.

Ted, Ironically that was a recent mass teaching and I as a gardener have always had a problem with that as I know weeds tend to give easy, but will take over and choke out/kill the good plant/wheat. And as a gardener, I know to pull weeds often and as soon as I see them because they grow fast, as well bring many more with them, and will kill the plants. An esspression of "tend to your own garden" would apply. Also when its hard to tell which is weed or plant the tug test, the good plant will not yield as the bad weed. But I will watch the videos and respond again. I have been meaning to get with you.

Hi, I enjoyed your videos. I am a container gardener too, and this year was my best year yet. I am in the south and I was told about mint, that it will overtake most anything, so plant alone and in a pot to contain it. But I didn't know about the rest, I may have planted just as you had, for the sake of 'efficient utilization'. As always, He shows us the truth of His word in practical revelation!
Ted,
I almost forgot to mention the good soil!!! I did watch the videos. I was particularly surprized by the Hendrix choice, he died of a heroin overdose and his yellow color (also because of Hep B) and his non-committal due to fear and pain. And possibly his fear of rejection by God. Many artists who chose this drug are very sensitive people who feel "everything" and want relief from the pain/emotional, and then the trap has been layed, they never intended to become addicted. It is often a foolish choice of youth ( he mentions the orange). The rainbow is also interesting as it is the 1st covenant God made with man via Noah. My spirit says there is a much larger message for you. And hey! How did u get my dog in the video?!!! :)

One last thought, the seed may be believers vs. non-beleivers, as a house divided cannot stand, as many of us have had to find out the hard way.

Permalink Reply by Ted Walther on September 4, 2011 at 4:59pm Leo, if the larger message is "don't take heroin", don't worry. I don't plan to start! :-)
The parable of wheat and tares was about believers vs. unbelievers. But Leviticus 19:19 isn't about that. It is about the larger principle that includes the wheat and tares. It is about the foundational principle of holiness. Everything has its proper place, and holiness means being in your place. It is the opposite of adultery, which means mingling, mixture, or pollution.
One example: fish and buffalo are both good. But the buffalo don't live in the sea. Fish don't live on the land. It is harmful to both to try to mingle them in such a way.
