Commercial Free zone!

The insight to what we are doing to resolve the interrupted broadcast viewing issue.

yes....there was a cost involved......Yes we are paid up till July 31. at which time a decision will be made that will hopefully allow a commercial free status into the future. I have set up an account that is month to month which does away with the interruptions that were getting out of hand......

The move in this direction was not quick, prayer and thought was sought, although the actual "step" was natural and effective......it flowed! AND IT WORKED

The service....."LiveStream" in an attempt to generate funds to cover bandwidth cost have been getting more and more intrusive to the live broadcast, to the point of making it frustrating to view and produce. We looked in to the option of using other sites or services.....but LiveStream offered what we wanted.

I hope to be able to use this group on the SWW to discuss and perhaps find options that we do not see. Also to generate interest in funding this idea! more to say as the weeks go by with how we are doing in this area will be shared here.

Can you say what the cost is? Monthly? Better deal if paid yearly? I'm asking both to figure out how much to contribute as well as for possible use here at IDC in the future. Thanks.

Yes John....

First a disclaimer......"you get what you pay for".......

The cost to stream a channel is $350.00 US a month.....This allows for 1000 GB of storage space, 3000 viewer hours (one viewer watching for one hour, or 4 watching for 15 mins.) Yesterday we used 155 viewer hours...

At first glance the 350 seemed way too much, and a stretch of my faith so to speak.......But after much hashing and praying, I realized that we could at least give this a try.......The funds were supplied and this move WORKED, If our goal was to provide to those that have faithfully tuned in every Saturday and the commercials were interrupting this goal......And money could solve this problem!.....To me it was/is obvious. (Whats next?)

Yes there is a reduction in a year vs month plan.....(Two months free) pay for 10 get 12...)

anyway those are the numbers.....(but there is other details that make this better for us, and I will address this in a discussion later!
