Hi Janet!

Yes, it does look like fun.  I think Nan used some kind of pen that had food coloring in it, so that once your white icing was dried, all you had to do is just draw on the cookies. She did a great job. I thought each one was a work of art.   As a matter of fact, I took one of each cookie design to keep and they have been in my my china cupboard for about 3 years now. My grand kids always ask if they could have one when they come over.  Glad I keep the cupboard locked!  :-)
