Queensland flood - my experience

I had dropped the boys off back at their mum's place and was on my way back to the mountain -'Mount B.', as I have mentally started referring to it in honour of the B. family. My friends were on a three week overseas trip and I had been asked to look after their place and their two little dogs. The way to Mount B. is fifteen kilometres of increasingly windy road, followed by one and half kilometres of all-terrain gravel road cut into the side of the mountain. The creek crosses the road in…See More

Season's greetings

The holiday season. The 'silly season'. Winter solstice in dark, cold Europe. Roman Saturnalia and paganYuletide. Consumer frenzy. Tinsel. In spite the assault on thesenses, an almost audible whisper seductively urges: 'Buy. Spend.Eat. Drink. Kill the pig - or at least break the piggy bank. Treat yourself. Treat your family. After all, it'sChristmas.'*As I complete my non-holiday inspired purchase, a young retail assistant wishes me 'a great afternoon'. Fora fleeting and refreshing moment, I…See More

Shalom Caveman.

Your definitely not alone...... keep going towards that horizon of truth that HaShem has set before us !!!!
Eventually that elusive horizon will manifest itself in all its glory to the the ultimate :

ט וְהָיָה יְהוָה לְמֶלֶךְ, עַל-כָּל-הָאָרֶץ; בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא, יִהְיֶה יְהוָה אֶחָד--וּשְׁמוֹ אֶחָד. 9 And the LORD shall be King over all the earth; in that day shall the LORD be One, and His Name One.
Zech 14 v 9.

Shalom
Joe.
