Succoth 09 - Camp Meeting and Conference at Temple Sinai / Mary Ann Brown Preserve
October 2, 2009 at 5pm to October 11, 2009 at 7pm
The Feast of Tabernacles or booths, Succoth in Hebrew, is a seven day festival that is meant to commemorate a time when Ancient Israel dwelt in temporary huts or shelters (see for example Leviticus 23:41-43). It is one of the three pilgrim festivals. I don't want to be nosy, but couldn't help notice that you mentioned a prayer need to Deb on her wall. We do have a special group just for Prayer Requests where we share our needs, pray for one another, and then when prayers are answered, we share that too. You are most welcome to join us if you would like. You wouldn't have to mention any specifics if you don't feel comfortable, just that you have a need. HaShem knows our hearts and our needs. Anyway, I just wanted to welcome you and let you know that. Did you by any chance attend the recent conference this past weekend in Charlotte with Nehemiah Gordon and Keith Johnson?
