The top photo is in Israel - a once barren desert. The Word of HaShem is Life. The other photos are in my back garden and surrounding districts. There is a shot of the little country church about 100 metres down the road and Aunt Amanda's Cottage, a B & B which is very typical of the area. My two puppies are Miss Minky and Mr Jones (Jonah). I love where I live and believe it is very similar to Israel where I think I would feel very much at home.

Yes, Jessica! These are such lovely photos...how wonderful it must be to be so surrounded by such beauty. I am a nature lover myself. I will have to include a few photos of my teeny tiny little flower garden on my back patio...the tiny splash of color these cold winter days is such a blessing! And I love your puppies! Please keep us updated regarding your Mum. I do so appreciate your sweet words to me about my Mother.

Shabbat Shalom, Jessica. Thank you for your kind remarks regarding my Mom's birthday yesterday. Yes, I remembered her with much love, as I do have so many special memories of her. Of course, there was sorrow, but what is love without it? I identify so much with you words regarding your Mum and wanting her life to be over quickly for her sake, now that she is near the end. Yes, may she slip peacefully and painlessly into sleep. My mother did and I was with her when she took her last breath. She was not aware of anything they say, but I believe she knew I was there as I had been 24/7 for a week before she died. The last words she said to me several days before were very hard to make out because she was so weak...but I will always treasure them...she said, "I love you."
Losing our mothers is one of the hardest things in the world, but we don't want them to suffer and when it is time, we have to give them up into HaShem's hands, knowing that all will be okay.
I am glad that we connected again as well. Pat and I and others will be here for you. I have lost your private email address and I am not sure how to email from here. We will just have to figure that out. Mine for now is bkgivin@charter.net. Please keep us updated. Much love and prayers coming your way, Jessica, Betty/Elisheva

Hey Jessica,

Yeah, only 61 hours this week, and only 5 days, too. I understand totally what you mean about "religiosity" - I always remember that more people have been slaughtered in the name of 'religion' then anything else.

In terms of Rav Kahane, there are quite a few sites I can recommend, but a good one to start with is this link: http://kahane.org/meir/index.html I am rushing around right now trying to finish the cooking before Shabbat, and I will gladly write more tomorrow night. Also, there are several speeches that are posted on YouTube that are worth seeing, too.

Also, email me your mailing address and I'll send you some material, too. To be continued... :-)

Shabbat Shalom,
Hanoch

Jessica, sorry you missed it. It was breathtaking...HaShem's handiwork! But glad you are here, so you won't miss anything else! I am in good health, Baruch HaShem, and I am looking to Him to fill in all the gaps where needed elsewhere. Thanks for asking, and I hope things are going well for you in your personal life as well. How is your mother? Love, Betty/Elisheva

My dear Jessica, of course I remember you! I had just asked Joe if he thought you might be interested in joining us, and Wow, here you are! I have thought of you often and am so glad to see your pretty smiling face here. Yes, looking forward to chatting again. Love and Blessings coming your way, Betty/Elisheva

P.S. Did you happen to see the phenonenom in the sky several nights ago with the Crescent Moon and Venus and Jupiter all in view together? They said on the news that in Australia, it looked like a "frowny face," with the planets above and the new moon upside down and below.
