Eu é que agradeço a sua gentil resposta, ao mesmo tempo que dou graças a HaShem pelo seu impressionante percurso. Para mim vai funcionar como bom exemplo, pois também eu vim da ala evangélica da igreja e procuro calmamente um lugar entre os judeus para aprender a reverenciar e agradar a HaShem, servindo-o na comunidade. Tem sido um percurso difícil mas a SWW tem-me ajudado com o exemplo destas pessoas muito bonitas, como você - bonitas em Paz, Bondade, e Instrução nas coisas de HaShem.

Também eu guardo o Sábado e alguns mitzvot que são acessíveis à minha compreensão, procurando manter-me separado do mundo mas não tanto que não possa ser um exemplo para eles. Na alimentação não sou kosher mas evito os alimentos proíbidos na Torah, bem como as misturas de alimentos proíbidas.

Desejo vir a conhecer alguma comunidade judaica que me ajude a compreender melhor os preceitos dos mitzvot de forma a melhorar a minha postura perante HaShem.

Haha, I didn't even know there was a grapevine. I don't usually think about all the people that watch us on the internet.
My parents have been trying to get me to go up and read the Torah for a while now, but I never did. This time my mom just said "You're going to go read the Shema", and I did.

We love the names Heather and Chris chose too. We also found that Ava could be a diminuation of Chana - life. We prayed that Hashem would place a very special neshama in this little body. In March Heather, Inju and I attended a TGIS (Thank G-d is is Sabbath) dinner and evening which is held bi-monthly in the Heritage Inn by Chabad. Every time we sang the Sabbath songs, Heather said the baby jumped in her womb. Rabbi Eisenbach prayed and said there is a Jewish neshama in that child. May it be so.
