Shalom Ken,
would you believe that I used to be an altar boy in the Catholic Church when the mass in Latin was being phased out.
My 4 year sojourn in Sicily as a teenage student made me an atheist communist when I saw the rampant corruption within the Vatican where the mafia was laundering its money through the Vatican Banca Ambrosiana.
Long story but Baruch HaSHEM I was led to the path of truth and Torah lifestyle.
I am encouraged by your Shabbat observance.
Yes you are right. The eternal is eternal and His word endureth forever.
I encourage you on your quest of Tanach.
Shalom Ken,
just finished for the year.
Extremely excited at the prospect of another achi( brother) from Australia.
We are on the extreme ends of the continent. Have never been to Perth. But one day , who knows?
Welcome to this incredible journey from many far and wide.
Please let us know about your background. How is your Hebrew?
I LOOK FORWARD IN GETTING TO KNOW YOU.
Best Regards
JOE.
