Yeah.....my struggle is always with finding the patientce to wait for the reason that all this study has happened! But I am glad to be back.........I have missed the youth group I work with here sooooo much. Last night, the youth group started practicing the Purim Play (we are very late this year). This year's purim play is a combination of PeterPan, Madagascra, and ofcourse these are written into the story of Esther! It is going to be so funny!! They youth are so great and we had a blast at practice! so how do you celebrate purim?

Ok Audiocity I have (a friend recommended it to me a year ago when I wanted to try to convert all my teaching tapes to digital format.......and I bought the cables and downloaded audiocity then......but then succeeded to do what I had wanted). I will try it. Right now though my speakers on my computer aren't working........so I need to deal with that too.
I am in Israel. It is great to be "home" I have missed my congregation here so much. Today to hear the torah service and then to sign worship (in hebrew) was like a deep drink of water to a thirsty soul.......! But like always with returning there are struggles too. I had been checking into starting a course that I had wanted to take for years (to become a Tour Guide......which would be 18 month of just studying the history and geography of the land). But found on Thursday that while my hebrew is good enough to do the course, they don't allow non-citizens to take the course. *sigh* ........so I am just studying Hebrew for now and praying about God's plans.....and rejoicing that He was brought me back.....if for nothing else then to just worship Him here...in Hebrew with songs I love! How are you? What have you been busy with?

Hey I did finaly check my myspace. Most my freinds anymore are on Face book so I check that more offen. I think you should up load your music on this site. Then we can all hear it. Since you are music guy (and most the album producing music guys I knew are also great sound equipment and computer sound programs)..........do you know of a good audio converter I can down load. Some of the hebrew music I would love to upload to this site aren't mp3 format and they need to be plus I have itunes songs that I would love to convert to mp3 format. Any suggestions?

Hey Rick,

Here is a cool site on Biblical Hebrew. I bought one of their books, very helpful: www.ancient-hebrew.org

I am going to have to see if my library can get that book in. I have always wanted to find dictionary that lists the hebrew roots and then all the words that each root makes. But my hebrew teacher in Israel have said they haven't ever heard of such a thing.
You should upload some of your music to this site. I still haven't been able to hear your music on myspace.

hmmm sounds like a good book. I love studying Hebrew . IT is fasicnating see all the different word one root will make. Like the root for the word Shalom (שלום) the root also forms the verb "to pay" (לשלם) and the adjective complete (שלם) and the adjective perfect (משלם). And yet the idea of a root word is that the root give the word the base concept. A friend of mine in Israel pointed out that this root's meaning seems to indicate that perfect peace comes when all is paid for.
