Praise YeHoWaH!

Shalom Everyone

I hope I will get to know you all and make new friends. I have come out of Christianity and now believe in the teachings of the Tanakh. YeHoWaH has been guiding my path since 1988. This was when YeHoWaH showed me that I had not been seeking Him or His ways and when I became convicted of my sin of not seeking His will in my life. I made a commitment to Him at that time and promised to obey Him if He would show me the way.

YeHoWaH has been showing me my errors and correcting me since that time. Many times I have been deceived by false teaching and my preconceived ideas. YeHoWaH has lovingly guided me and has been opening my eyes to His truth since that time. I have not always been a fast learner and have made many mistakes along the way. I still have a lot to learn and will probably make more mistakes before I get it right.

I am thankful to be here with others who also are being led by YeHoWaH and who are seeking to know and obey His truth. Thank you United Israel for sending me an invitation to join this group. Thank you Ross for making it possible for us to meet here.

Shalom to all,

Sandra.

Answered Prayer

I would like to share with you the life changing answers to the prayers I have prayed to YeHoWaH.

The 1st answer to prayer that influenced my life was when I was a small child. My mother had taught me that God was the creator of the heavens, the earth and everything in them. She told me that He was a loving God and He would answer my prayers. I was having nightmares every night and was afraid to go to sleep. My mother told me to pray to God and ask Him to take away the nightmares. This was my p… Continue

Sandra, I am just happy that we were able to work thru it and you are still with us! We have quite an amazing and special group of people here in our dialogue list and the thread, "From my heart to yours," was just one example of how the love of HaShem in our hearts can allow us to reach across barriers that might otherwise divide and separate us into factions. Being honest, loving and caring, as we dialogue and learn from one another is what it is all about. Thank you, Sandra, for your gracious response. Shalom and shavua tov, Elisheva/Betty

Hi Sandra! I love your spirit! You are a tenacious seeker of Truth, and have found yourself in the midst of many other such sojourners. We are all connected, and we NEED each other, so we are NOT leaving anyone behind...............OK? That's just the way it is!!!!!
Love to you,
Pat

Thank you Sandra for the loving and compassionate words you shared with me about Joshua. Yes, he was a very special little boy, like a little spark or flash of light that was here with us for a brief moment, but who will remain forever in our hearts...much like your precious little Steven. I am so sorry to hear about your loss. There are really no words of comfort one can give another that can ease the pain or fill the void left in the heart after the death of a child...only HaShem...El Shaddai, our nuturer and our protector, literally, the "Double Breasted" One,can provide that comfort which allows us to pick up the pieces and go on living. You, with the overwhelming sense of peace you felt on the morning when you found him lifeless in bed, can personally attest to that. I really do not think you need to worry that little Steven will not be resurrected because you had him cremated. Surely the Creator who gave him life and made him in His image not only can, but will lovingly raise him up again in the last day and place him in your arms! Anything less would be a cruel joke. Why would He give you such peace and then deny you the hope of being reunited again?
Thank you for sharing this...and also your story...1988 was the beginning of the process of my eyes being opened to the Torah path and the One G-d of Israel too. The late 80's and early 90's was an awakening period for many of us. And although we may have differing opinions in some areas, we have somehow all been intricately connected and have love and respect for one another as we live and learn and grow as we travel this Ancient Path! Baruch HaShem!
I love the beautiful photos of your family. May HaShem's blessings be upon you all, Betty/Elisheva

Shalom Allen, I do not know if the passover was kept at the right time in 70ad. My understanding of the Passover is from what the prophest of YeHoWaH have written in the Tanakh, not from what was done in Jerusalem in 70ad or in the years prior to t…

3) What is your definition of erev (which you call dusk)? (please include what the level of darkness is during this time). 4) What period of time does erev (dusk) consist of (IE: How many hours/minutes approx.)?

Shalom Allen, According to what is written in the Tanakh the day begins at sunset and ends at sunset. Dusk is the time between sunset and dark. The command to kill the passover lamb was to kill it at dusk on the 14th day of the month. The whole as…
