Uhmmmm...I find that we sometimes tiptoe around the "elephant in the room" regarding Jesus.  I will use the term Jesus, because that is the term I am familiar with and that is the name all bibles…Continue

Christmas is pagan, a compromise by a 12th century pope who sent a bishop to England to convert those who worshipped a sun god. I was far from happy this Christmas. But it is the day that has been chosen so I said Feliz Navidad to those who…

Hello Tamla,
I'm new here and have been reading through the forums. The one where you asked the different questions is closed now. But I read through many, not all, of the comments I thought I would add my 2 cents. As per why Jesus accepted 'worship'. The word in Greek is not actually worship it means bow down or prostrate ones self, but also used as worship but doesn't properly mean that. It is up to the translator to say they 'bowed down before Jesus' or they 'worshiped' Jesus. So many issues in the NT are resolved by going back to the original languages and traditions. I personally don't think Jesus is God nor claimed to be God or claims were made about him to be God. The closest claim there is to his godhood is John 1:1 but yet in verse 18 it says no man has seen God at any time and John repeats this in 1 john 4 12. God is said to be invisible multitudes of times in the NT. More on that if you would like I have written an entire document on this using what the bible says.
As per the spiritual movements we are warned that there will be all sorts of false teachings that come alone but there is a verse I found interesting Jude 1 19 it says that men will be 'sensual' in the KJV but the word in greek is interesting I perfer the idea of 'soulish'. This would be my example. you can go to a rock concert or a music of your choice and be 'moved' now if the music was having nothing to do with God, worship or the like, even alot of paganish good music out there it would be impossible to say it was the spirit moving. So what was it? Soulish. We today don't make a distinction between Soulish and spirit. This can lead us to make grave errors about what is true and what is false. Churches today try and create an 'atmosphere' which is nice but we need to be able to discern what was a good presentation and what was the spirit.

David & Tamla,

I understand your concern with the apparent inconsistency in the Bible.
The question concerning (Yeshua)
1 The meaning of his name:
YHAH is Salvation= YHAHOSHUAH.
2 ELOHIM with us = EMMANUEL
3 YHAH said unto my YHAH, sit thou at my right hand.. Psalms 110:1,2
What is his name, and what is his son's name..? Proverbs 30:4
4 Behold, I lay in zion for A foundation A stone, A tried stone.Isa 28:16-22 & 8:14-18
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith YHAH. Isaiah 55:8.

We were briefly in the messianic, and there is a lot more. we still have some acquaintances in it. But the idea that Yahshua was an Israelite man, not G-d, and will keep many far from you that are among the religious circles. We lost friends over the dietary laws, cannot imagine what they would do with what we are seeing now.
All I know is this is the right path. as long as we continue to walk in the correct way, YHVH will go before us and Vindicate us, and protect us from behind. I can testify to that 100%.

Shalom and blessings!

Yes, I am great. I turned right to the chapter on Messiahs, that is one topic I have been really seeking YHVH about, and sacrifices. turned to ONE verse and it added to a huge study we have been doing. So I am just trying to be sure what I see is right, and really am speechless about this right now. I got up from my desk crying.
just ordered it online thursday. that is the only chapter I have read so far.
We watched the video on the Tomb of Yahshua on you tube about a month ago, and my teenagers were so upset we have been lied too so much. (one child did not speak for 24 hours). Last Shabbat YHVH led me to the verse in Revelation 14 about the Faith OF Yahshua, like the Faith OF Abraham. WOW!
What led me to Calvinism was seeing "chosen" but not putting it all together. Now that I look back in 1996 YHVH was trying to show me then, and I did not recognize what was going on. I never believed anyone replaced Israel, like most do in Calvinism. I never studied the end times, it never interested me til now. Through much chastisment, and distress I cried out last April and the scales came off. When He showed me who we are, I cried for days. (seem to be doing a lot of that during this) Since then, this has been one FAST moving ride. I have lost most of my family, they think I am nuts, my best friends are all gone. I have YHVH, He has been my help and comfort, its been lonely still though. It has been very scary because of other things that have come along during these last nine months, with not only MUCH persecution, but at the very week of crying over who we are, my family I did not know existed found me, confirming what He was already showing me.
I know exactly where clovercroft is,my family lived off of Edmondson Pike.
