Shalom,
During the discussion part of the meeting today (3-19-2011) they were discussing Esther, and one of the things that came up was how The name YHWH is not mentioned in the book. An interesting fact is that although within just about every chapter of Torah The Name is found, there are 10 consecutive chapters where it is not (something I have wondered about for over a decade). Well, since the meeting I have been thinking about this, and this thought has come to mind. I can't say…

Shalom,
What does it mean when Torah states that YHWH hardened the heart of Pharaoh? Did YHWH "force" Pharaoh to act as he did, or did Pharaoh have free will just as all of us? It seems to me that many believe YHWH forced Pharaoh to act as he did, personally I see it differently.
Have you ever heard the phrase "push his buttons", and how some people's buttons can easily be pushed and you can predict how they will react? This is what I see going on there. YHWH knows that the…

Shalom,
I thought I would share a little something that some might find of interest. Personally, I am not even sure what exactly to make of the New Testament, nor whether I believe its legitimacy, but if the book of Revelation has anything to do with Torah and the Prophets, then the symbolism would have to be consistent, imo. One of the things in Revelation that can be difficult to notice due to translation is that John uses 2 different Greek terms that are both translated "beast" in…

Shalom Tom,
Thanks for your excuse!
Perhaps Ribi Y’hoshua was anointed by Raban Jamliyeil. It is a fact that he had semikhah from Raban Jamliyeil [Documentation].
I will do some repetitions necessary to demonstrate a point. The Mashiakh was prophecied to get killed in the first century [Documentation]. Ribi Y’hoshua is the only person that fulfilled the Messianic prophecies of Tana’’kh that aren’t possible to fulfil anymore and never will be possible to fulfil again, according to Tana’’kh, including the requirement of having genealogies to Dawid [Documentation]. Thus, either Ribi Y’hoshua was the Mashiakh or there will never be any Mashiakh. Either Ribi Y’hoshua was the Mashiakh or ha-Sheim is [l’havdil (to differentiate)] a liar. Thus, if this is a Tana''kh-requirement for being the Mashiakh, we know that Ribi Y’hoshua had such an anointing, since we know that ha-Sheim doesn’t lie.
It was an article that I had written which I linked to. Mashiakh ben Yoseiph – the suffering servant described in Y’shayahu 53. To my understanding the name 'ben Yoseiph' is use to describe the role. When I use that term I refer to that there are dual roles of the Mashiakh as it is written in Tana’’kh [Link].
Your thoughts?
Have a great day!
Sincerly, Anders
