Has anyone done research on ancient diets? What were the common staples, vegitables, fruits? And were they eaten raw or perpared / combination of both? I'm very novice in this area, but as a health care provider, any information on good dietary prac…

Hi Myron.I'm not a rabbi, bro and yes,Sandra is one sharp lady and one I'm glad to call friend.Hey,start a forum post with what you are wondering about how eternal Torah is and what you think. I bet you get a landslide of replies.

Well said Rabbi Hez, we must continue to "lay beside it and judge what is false and what is truth." From reading yours and Sandra's post on this site, I get the sense you both have and will continue to do so. One thing that has been on my mind this…

Shalom Myron, If what you studied had no truth in it, how would you know that it was not truth? You first have to know the truth in order to determine the truth from the lie. Without knowledge of the truth, you would accept and believe the lie. As…

Interesting replies to the original and I'd say that all the concepts have merit. Tova's point that if you study enough, you will see what different ways there are to look at something and eventually sort it all out. That is the very heart of learni…

Sandra, Even if the study does not have truth in it, does that not bring knwoledge that it does not have truth. Just as Proverbs 20:17 says, the end result is one grains knowleadge of the gravel in the mouth and not to do that again. :) Tova, was yo…

Not all studies give knowledge to the one who studies. If what you study is not truth, it will bring you no profit. Proverbs 19:27 Cease, my son, to hear the instruction that causeth to err from the words of knowledge. Proverbs 20:17 Bread of fals…

Difference

It does not make much difference what a person studies - all knowledge is related, and the man who studies anything, if he keeps at it, will become learned.

The World is Wide.....

The world is wide, not two days are alike, nor even to hours; neither was there ever two leaves of a tree alike since the creation of the world.

Time

A high heart ought to bear calamities and not flee them, since in bearing them appears the grandeur of the mind and in fleeing them the cowardice of the heart.

Dear Tova:

I don't doubt that you could be a returning NaSHaMaH.
Souls should, but sometimes don't come back to the best fit. Thus we get homosexuals, cross-dressers... and, on the very positive side, gems like you.
I am surprised that a Reform rabbi made the comment, but they all used to be closet yeshiva boys.

Shalom tova,
I noticed that are now in the "not attending" category for Sukkot in St Francisville. You had signed up for a shirt and a lulav and etrog when you registered. Should I cancel these?

Hello Tova,
I thank you for your kind invitation and wishes for my birthday. I'm glad to a member of SWW. A week ago Ross Nichols and Nehemiah & Keith with Dr. James D. Tabor were here in Charlotte, NC for the book tour of the "A Prayer to Our Father." It was a fantastic event. I was pleased to memorize the "Avinu" in its more original form. Tova, have a blessed day.

Sincerely,
Hanna (Hannele)

Hi Tova! I lived in Redlands for several years. I am familiar
with Yucaipa of 20 years ago...I think that when I drove out
that way a year ago there was alot of development going on.

There is a little Mexican restaurant in Redlands off State in the
downtown area that I always stop at if in that area. I was
surprized to find it still there, but forgot the name of it.

I haven't been here for awhile as I am between jobs and having
to press into this present dilemma. If you feel at all led, please
pray along these lines. Thank you for contacting me.

How wonderful that you got to go to a conference! I bet it was
amazing. Be blessed.

Shalom,
Keren
