I am the shepherd of a small community, Beth Lechem, in Central SC . We started out as a "messianic" congregation in 1995. We now have over 30 folks living on adjoining land. We no longer consider ourselves "messianic" in the traditional sense, but rather we are a Torah Observant community that observes Shabbat and keeps the moedim (festivals) according to the sighted new moon in Yerushalayim. We have gathered together to learn to truly love and serve one another and to prepare to return the land of our forefathers, Eretz Yisrael.
I have taught at conferences and festivals and have traveled to teach in congregations in the past, but my main focus now is on our community.
My wife Tammy and I have seven children ranging in ages from 4 to 20 years old. I earn my living as an HVAC contractor.
My initial introduction to Torah was through the teaching of Joseph Good many years ago when he used to travel to South Carolina every month to teach. Some years back I embraced the 2 house truth and now teach from that perspective.
I believe that just as Yisrael was gathered to Goshen to learn to become a people again, so we too must begin to gather together and learn to love one another face to face, as preparation for being a part of the Kingdom to come in the Land.
We are searching for others with a vision of unity and return.
