Nice to hear from you. Please let me know how you came to join this ancient path. Do you have others of like mind in your area? We have been on this path for many years and converted to Judaism in 1998. Visited the synagogue in Glasgow abour 5 years ago and they were very weloming. Visited Stirling in 2008 and climbed the Wallace Monument and toured the castle which I had never done before. I try to get back to the land of my birth as often as I can and love being there. All the best to you as you journey to truth.

as promised I spoke to my mate, Dror today regarding Jewish activities in Scotland.
He reiterated that there are not many resident Jews in Scotland. The largest community would be in Glasgow.
However, Dror did mention that many Israelis visit Scotland as backpacking tourists and therefore Chabad are active in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Giffnock.
I would say, by looking at Google Earth, that Alloa is closest to Edinburgh or Glasgow.
Not knowing the highway network I not able to judge which one would be closest.
