I have been going through Hebrew Matthew 19 (George Howard) and noticed that in verse 24, "the camel" is mentioned, but not "pass through the eye of a needle" unless you use the pictographic meaning of the 2-Hebrew-letter word…

It was something I haaven't learned about as I have been learning hebrew. Is it just with biblical hebrew (my hebrew has been learned from classes more focused on modern hebrew (ulpan in Israel)). Loved the book and my friend that I bought the other for, read and absolutley loved the book. Especially the story about how the ride to get the scroll came down.

Why would Yeshua switch the animals if he is quoting?

Is this a common practice or should I translate that word as something else H7031-2? and translate <- Lamed Mem Gimel Heh <- H1580-1 as something else like "The yield" instead of "The camel"?
