A Disclaimer of sorts and an explanation

Dear friends - shalom! I just wanted to take a few minutes of your time to explain a couple of things again for the sake of those who may be new to the site, or may have forgotten some key points. I set this site up for the purpose of bringing people together to discuss biblical topics. It is really an extension to my "ministry" for lack of a better designation. Some time back I began to post my weekly teachings as podcasts, and then not too much later we were able to go live over the internet allowing others to join. For the most part, this has been well received. Over and over I meet with people who have nowhere else to turn. Many are non-Jews turning to Torah faith. Some still identify with various aspects of Christianity but are willing to study the bible in order to "see if these things are so". I felt that creating a place where people could meet on common ground was the right thing to do. I try my best not to weigh in to heavily into all the discussions so that others can present their views. Frankly, I realize that there are many very able people out there who have studied their bibles extensively and so I certainly do not feel that everyone should simply listen to Ross, take notes and become my disciples. There are plenty of people out there who are doing that. I want something different here. I must admit that there are things on this site that I do not agree with but I also feel that there are plenty of reasons to let things continue as they are for the most part. I still see plenty of people arguing their points and ridiculing those who do not see things their way. Even with all of this, I remain convinced that these are the exceptions rather than the rule. I wanted to write this post to express that there may be times when I do have to step in and take action. I have done so twice this week. Both times it was to remove someone for attempting to spread some anti-Semitic hatred. As is usually the case, these types recast the same story. This is not a case of me being some kind of bully who does not allow points that are not in line with my thinking or understanding of Scripture. One can listen to my views on just about every topic by checking out my weekly teaching or taking some time to check out several years worth of podcasts available for download off of my site. When one does this, they will see that I do not agree with everything that is posted here. But when individuals begin to post conspiracy type theories I have to say that this is not the place for such. I love Israel and the Jewish people (and I believe that the Jews that we know as Jews are real Jews and not some imposter group). So yes I ousted someone for spreading this propaganda. He signed back on as someone else and did it again and then left a note on my wall with some not so kind words. Please understand that I am used to getting notes like these but was sorry that some of this was posted publicly. I realize that some of you may have seen this before I removed it. At any rate, my time is very limited as I work a full time job, have a large family and devote most of my "spare" time to prepare my weekly Sabbath classes. If one wants to know my opinion on a subject, I would humbly request patience and a personal email. I do believe that we have many on this site who are quite capable of providing some good material. As with anything one hears, sees or reads, I would encourage you to carefully study these things for yourself from the Scriptures. This site is for you to have a place to interact with others who are seeking to find the good way among the ancient paths. Shalom, Ross

Ross, though I did not see the comments that were left for you I am so sorry you are having to deal with people like this. You have always been a wonderful mentor and teacher and we all know what is right in our hearts and noone can EVER take that away from us. I leave you my friend with a couple of quotes that I feel touch on this subject:

~ The highest form of ignorance is when you reject something you don't know anything about. ~

Believe Nothing,
No matter where you read it
or who has said it,
Not even if I have said it,
Unless it agrees with your own reason
and your own comon sense

Shalom and much Love
