It does not make much difference what a person studies - all knowledge is related, and the man who studies anything, if he keeps at it, will become learned.

Well said Rabbi Hez, we must continue to "lay beside it and judge what is false and what is truth." From reading yours and Sandra's post on this site, I get the sense you both have and will continue to do so.

One thing that has been on my mind this week, even before you said it was your last statement, "Torah is eternal". I have a lot of questions about this, unfortunatly I'm not able to properly ask for now. I must "lay beside it and judge what is false and truth".

Thanks to you all,

Sandra, Even if the study does not have truth in it, does that not bring knwoledge that it does not have truth. Just as Proverbs 20:17 says, the end result is one grains knowleadge of the gravel in the mouth and not to do that again. :) Tova, was you quote orginal?
