After many years of consideration these verses have a much greater meaning to me. Any thoughts or comments? Please excuse the use of the term "the LORD". Hopefully if you are in this group, you will know what I mean...if not just ask.

Zech 14:6-10

6 "I will strengthen the house of Judah
and save the house of Joseph.
I will restore them
because I have compassion on them.
They will be as though
I had not rejected them,
for I am the LORD their God
and I will answer them.
7 The Ephraimites will become like mighty men,
and their hearts will be glad as with wine.
Their children will see it and be joyful;
their hearts will rejoice in the LORD.
8 I will signal for them
and gather them in.
Surely I will redeem them;
they will be as numerous as before.
9 Though I scatter them among the peoples,
yet in distant lands they will remember me.
They and their children will survive,
and they will return.
10 I will bring them back from Egypt
and gather them from Assyria.
I will bring them to Gilead and Lebanon,
and there will not be room enough for them.

You are correct! It is Zech 10:6-10.

Amen v'Amen. I can not wait to step foot in Israel for the Mt. Zion dig this year. To stand at the very place where the "Ancient of Days" - whose name we all know to be Holy - said earlier in the book of Zechariah -

Thus says the LORD: "I will return to Zion and dwell in the midst of Jerusalem."

Hey Dave -

This is, without a doubt one of my favorite of ALL the prophecies (gee, what a shock that is, huh?! LOL). To me, this is THE proof text of the regathering of ALL of the tribes, wherever they are and WHAT ever they've become. Without the context of understanding the two Kingdoms (Judah & Israel), these verses make no sense at all. In fact, since we're told there will not be room enough for them all...I'm going to start scouting out spaces as quickly as I can - I am THAT sure that we will see this happen, G-d willing, in OUR day; and that we can work toward that goal, now.

B'Ahavat Yehuda v'Yisrael (With LOVE of Judah & Israel),
Hanoch
