Fukushima Update.

Here is the NEI update, it corroborates the NISA press release.  These is a new aspect here though, it seems that there is some confirmation that the containment structure at Unit 2 was breached during the explosion early in the event.  This was suspected but this is the first statement of confirmation I have seen.

 

 

Once again it is important to understand that according to the NISA press release, this upgrade in severity level is considered temporary and precautionary.
