Right now I am in Montana. I had about a month break in between the semesters and so I decided to come home and spend some time with my family. I will be flying back to Israel the 25th of Feb.
The last month I was in Israel was busy. The day before I flew out I had my end of semester test in the class “women in the holocaust”. I think it went well. The week before that was the conference on the research on the stories of holocaust survivors. Since I was helping I didn’t get to hear all the discussion panels but still heard many of them. It ended up being an amazing conference to be a part of. I was very thankful for the opportunity to listen and learn.
When I return to Israel I will have just a couple of days to sign up for classes because the spring semester starts March 2. Please pray for me as I return that I will be able to enter the country and receive a three month visa with no problems. Also please pray that I can sign up for enough classes that they will be willing to renew my visa.
Also when I return I am going to start helping a friend who does therapeutic riding for troubled children. It will mean two days a week for about six hours. Sue (my friend) needs someone to help with the kids as her Hebrew still isn’t fluent and she has found that she really needs a believer to work with her so that she has someone to pray through spiritual warfare with. I am very excited about the opportunity and am praying that the Father will enable me to be a light and a blessing to these children. This year they have mostly given Sue older boys so we could definitely use extra prayer for wisdom and covering in dealing with the older boys.
Also please keep in prayer the youth group. Andrey the youth leader is getting married in March and so will be gone for a time in the month of March. Pray that I will have wisdom as to what direction the girl’s bible study should go in. The last few months not many girls have been coming. Thank you so much for all your prayers!
