Many friends and members of the Synagogue without Walls and Roots of Faith have been asking me for an update on my book on Paul, to be published early next year by Simon & Schuster. Ross Nichols has mentioned the book a number of times and anticipate it will have a high level of interest among most of our SWW people, given the variety of views we seem to have happily gathered together here. Even more than Jesus, I find that it is Paul who is often the most decisive figure as people began to recover their Hebraic Roots and study the issues related to the rise and development of early Christianity.

I have just posted a Blog entry at my personal Blog site that I invite any of you to visit (and subscribe to) if you are interested in a broad treatment of what I call "all things Biblical," from an academic point of view. Here is the latest post, bringing folks up to date on "Paul':

Upon reading your new blog......I was fascinated by the concluding chapter!

Does God Care for Oxen?.......A simple question! but the more I dig into this concept, the more I "see" how simple yet "deep" this question can be. Do not muzzle and ox when It is working! Is this commandment for man or beast? Can modern Christian preachers use this to bring in the dollars?

Did Paul get it right when he (I assume) said "NO" to this question?

Have pre ordered the book.....

Thanks for all you do!
